“This is my local Walgreens. I shop here a lot. The store itself is amazing I love it. The reason for R stars and not 5 though, is the pharmacy! The line is always full and the waiting time is 29 minutes and up sometimes! That's what I really dislike about this location.”
“Overall Gottlieb Pharmacy is great. I've never had any issues getting my prescriptions filled and most of the staff are friendly, especially Barb. I have also found that my prescriptions are less expensive than other drugstore chains. The only improvement suggestion I would make is for them to include the name on their automated refill notification. Our entire household use Gottlieb Pharmacy, and it would be good to know who the refill notification is for.”
“The five stars go to the employee in the picture. The man who actually compared options on behalf of a customer to make sure the customer paid as little as possible. This employee was also seen multitasking with apparent ease. Giving shots, answering questions, filling prescriptions, and problem solving. Grace under pressure.”

“When going to my CVS in Target (Melrose Park, IL), I always hope to see Koji the Pharmacist, he’s a special person. He starts off with his welcoming smile and a greeting. He’s always pleasant and giving his full attention to customers and if one has a question Koji alway does his best to answer it; this I have witnessed at time when I was in line.”
“My usual mom and pop pharmacy closed. I walked about 4 minutes and despite the bad review - I thought I would give it a try. Super mom and pop pharmacy look. It took me back to the 70's. Very nice lady behind the counter. She said it would be about 10 minutes - which beats CVS by a mile. About 5 minutes later, the pharmacy lady called me up and they did not have enough of my medication as I needed 3 months worth. I wasn't upset, because simply put, she was kind. She wasn't rude about it and it happens. I will try this pharmacy again. I was very impressed.”
“I genuinely don’t understand the negative reviews, because my experiences have been consistently excellent. Every time I visit this Walgreens in Melrose Park, I walk out impressed. The staff is always warm, courteous, and ready to help. There are plenty of employees on the floor, checkout is quick, and whenever I have a question, someone is right there with an answer.
The store is well-organized and easy to navigate. Its location on North Avenue makes it incredibly convenient, primarily since I work nearby. The only slight drawback is that it’s not open 24 hours, but honestly, that’s a minor detail compared to everything they do well.
I’ll definitely keep coming back. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent service and genuine customer service every time I’m in the store.”
