Hey, when you're visiting western KY and there isn't much to do in the way of night life, stopping off here to play a little was a nice reprieve. Slots didn't pay so great, and the place is super duper small, but thankful it's there considering there is just not much in the area to do!

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! When I arrived they told me my hopper reservation was canceled and that I had to rebook my room, paying FULL price for a room. My phone was about to die and I was out on the spot to provide a new credit card to book my room. My only mistake was not checking with Hopper first about my "canceled" reservation. When I checked the next morning, my Hopper reservation WAS NEVER CANCELLED. When I approached the front desk I was met with extremely rude front desk personnel, including "Manager" Sherri V. Sherri proceeded to tell me that she could not provide any PROOF that hopper had canceled my reservation. Sherri stated that "I didn't HAVE to stay with them" and that I would "not be getting ANY printout from her about my reservations." NIGHTMARE. I originally paid $200 for the room through hopper. It was a last minute birthday present for my husband. Due to the hotel staff LYING and SCAMMING me, I paid over $500 for one night there. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly because after more research, this IS common for them. To add on to this nightmare, ALL staff from the hotel AND casino were extremely rude. This whole trip with Harrah's Hotel and Casino turned into a NIGHTMARE.

Booked a suite checked in and found myself in a regular room. Management refused a swap to room we were supposed to have. Then refused to refund me the Money I had already paid. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said that she*Erica owned the casino and she could get security for me. This casino is a fraud and they scam customers out of their money before you even hit the gambling floor.STAY AWAY . for your own good

Rooms were ok. $15 resort fee added on top of the bill. Would not even give us points on our Ceasars Rewards because we booked through Wyndam.

Cleanest casino that i've been in... From Vegas to Tunica, this casino is super clean. And no smoking allowed fresh, clean air. Why you're having fun?

Pros:1). Staff was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY from the hotel desk staff in front to the Rewards Desk in the casino and everywhere in between.2). We bought the $18 piece of carrot cake from the restaurant and it was the best we had ever had and big enough for both of us to eat on it for 2 days.3). Hubby loved the glazed pork chops in the restaurant.Cons:1). Pillows and Bed was uncomfortable and sheets were itchy. 2). We were asked to downgrade from a king bed to two queens. My Hubby and I agreed to the queen (we need the King size to fit comfortably) and we got to the room and it was DEFINITELY a full/double, not even a queen.Whatever … so we slept in separate beds to be comfortable.3) Get home, get there was a hidden “Resort Fee” of $15. We didn’t really understand what they were saying when we called but apparently it’s for wifi we didn’t agree to, nor use. And it is apparently not able for reimbursement and “out of their control.” It COULD be disclosed beforehand though, right?4). Briefly and politely, I spoke to the manager about the bad night sleep and I asked for later checkout. With an attitude (the manager was the only person who had a bad attitude since our arrival) he snapped “Ill give you an extra hour and that’s it” to which I replied “Thank you, I will accept.” CLICK- He hung up.5). Like others have mentioned, slots were tightest ever. We inserted $500 before we gave up. At no point were we even ahead by $5.6). We too had a slippery incident in the shower. It’s like being on ice. I recommend laying a TOWEL in the bathtub to stand on. My husband’s back is now in pain and he will be seeing a doctor.FYI- Not a big deal but heads up —They also charge a $50 deposit initially that should be reimbursed but we shall see.Overall- I wouldn’t stay again simply because of the beds being uncomfortable, the hidden fee and the manager’s attitude, which is unfortunate because it was a fun time otherwise with great food.

Sister-in-law booked the hotel next to Harrah's. We're supposed to stop at Harrah's Cherokee, but time didn't allow it.So when I saw that beautiful purple sign. I was so happy to see it. Harrah's Metropolis is what I call, "Therapy"! Woke up and headed for our therapy, after breakfast. Everyone was so friendly. Bathroom were nice and clean.

Can't say enough about the cleanliness of this hotel 10 stars on that topic. Girl at Caesar rewards desk was very very rude. Never encountered this type of service from anybody at that desk before this was on Friday night. It was so bad that the people I was with wanted to leave. Dinner was good.Rooms: Room was so clean and well laid outSafety: Always felt safeFood & drinks: Great prices

Disappointed that no assistance to find a luggage trolly to bring luggage to our room. Desk clerk just said to wait til someone returns one. My 75 yr old husband had to make 2 trips to our 5th floor room with our bags because I was unable to carry anything due to my disability. We called as soon as we made online reservation to request handicap access room as I needed bathroom support to be steady. We get to Room 547. A very long walk for me to manage, and it was not accessible. I was too exhausted to make any changes!Walkability: Not easily walkable for a person with limited distance mobility!!

Overnight stay while on the road - room is standard harrahs - clean and dated. Was disappointed that the burger snack grill was closed on Thursdays. The safe in the room was locked upon arrival in room - staff attempted to open it but could not - so we had to drag our valuables with us to the casino. Thursday night and no Thursday night NFL football in the sports book or any tv’s at the bar - Amazon prime covers the games and Caesars can’t provide the game thru them? Disappointing stay - we’ll head to Drury’s in Mt Vernon for next roadside stay.

We went gambling for a couple hours on a Monday afternoon. It was a pleasant experience. Not crowded it was clean running smooth. Not a bad way to spend a Monday afternoon.

We picked Harrah's as a stopping point on our road trip. With our stay being midweek I understand that the nice restaurant is only open on weekends and won't knock any stars for food selections. There was a neat little hot food vending machine in the lobby area that I had to try. We killed an hour or so in the casino and had a good night's sleep on the super soft king bed. The room was nice and spacious and quiet.
