“I’d like to give a 5 star review to Midland Bank in Smithton, Il and especially Devon, on the front line. We were planning a high school 50th class reunion and we needed to open an account to start collecting funds and writing the necessary checks. There wasn’t anyone else on the committee who was able to find a bank that could meet our needs without a monthly fee for maintaining the account. I had already checked with other banks in town and they had no account that would work so I was very surprised when I went into Midland and Devon was happy to help! He was so knowledgeable about the different account options and was able to open a LivSimply account for us with only a $50 opening balance, no daily balance requirement and no monthly service fee. It’s exactly what we needed and the account was set up in a few minutes with Devon’s expertise! Eight months later our reunion is over and was a huge success. No where along the line was there even a hiccup with how smoothly the transactions went with Midland. Thanks so much to them and to Devon for making this banking experience so easy. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“I have never had such exceptional customer care from a bank. Erin, gives such an amazing personal touch. She calls to find out about unusual activity instead of other banks just blocking cards. She helped with a mortgage auto pay set up that got taken out too soon. She had it resolved within minutes and money back in my account by the next day. I actually, look forward to going to the bank now. And, who says that? Thank you Erin! And, regions bank for hiring the very nice, understanding, smart, efficient, quick to solve a problem quickly and with a smile. She is wonderful, very professional young woman. I dunno much about regions everywhere. But, 51 years old, and this one, is the best banking experience i have ever had in my life.”

“A good bank but not the most secure.I have been banking with FNB for about 2 years now. They are convenient, the staff have always been friendly and helpful.One issue though, they are not the most secure bank. They do not support multiple factor authentication (MFA). They simply use e single factor auths. That is similar to using 2 passwords where one of the passwords is something about you that could be easily obtained on the internet.I have asked them if and when they intend to implement MFA. For over a year the answer has always been we are working on it.”

“I have generally avoided using Regions for my banking needs because my research has shown them to be a fee heavy institution; however, the death of my brother changed that. Because he banked at Regions ( as well as my two sisters), we set up his estate account through Regions. I must say that every employee that l have dealt with has been informative, friendly and helpful. The services provided are excellent, and there are a myriad of locations available to serve me. In future, l may use Regions for my banking needs. At this time, l have already established my regular accounts at another bank.”

“A strong recommend. Very down to earth for a banking institution. We got our mortgage through them (they service them through First Integrity, a very highly rated company across the river in Missouri) and they were very honest about where the mortgage would be transferred to. The rate was hands down the best I saw anywhere and the fees were even better. The regular dividends on their accounts are also fantastic.”
