“I recently had an exceptional experience at Body Werks just before heading out on a much anticipated road trip with my family. My minivan required some bodywork and the team at the shop truly went above and beyond. Although the job turned out to be more extensive than initially anticipated, they promptly contacted me to explain the situation and offered two clear options to proceed. They took pictures and were able to text them to me and my husband. Their transparency and excellent communication made me feel confident and informed throughout the entire process. To top it all off they finished the work quickly and even washed my car, leaving it looking spotless. “In November of 2025 my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 was struck from the rear. Damage was done to the six-point tailgate, the bumper, trailer hitch, frame, both rear quarter panels, electrical connections, and the mount that connects the driver seat to the floor. My insurance co. gave me a choice of three places to take my vehicle in a fifty mile radius. My insurance agent advised me that Rendel's on Republic Ave in Joliet was on the list because of their integrity. I was familiar them with previous work related experiences. It took a while to get my truck back. That's because they don't by cheap aftermarket parts and they don't rush the job to get the vehicle out the door. I waited a while to write this because I wanted to thoroughly check everything out. The electrical components all work correctly. The mechanical components all work correctly and line up perfectly ( like when the truck was new ). Parts of the frame had to be cut off and replaced. You can't even tell where the new welds are. The truck tracks straight down the road. When you shine a bright flashlight on the replaced and repainted areas, you do not see two different paint jobs. The truck looks like it came off the showroom floor. My wife's BMW body shop couldn't do that a few years ago. I cannot say enough about honesty and integrity in the way they treat people and get the work done correctly.”
