“Ive found this post office staffed with congenial and knowledgeable personnel, and has a good selection of mailing boxes and envelopes. Wait times are usually minimal unless some self entitled jerk is completing addressing their packages at the service desk instead of the area on the other side of the post office set up to do this.”

“Stopped in to get help scheduling a passport appointment. Couldn't schedule online for no apparent reason other than I'm a Boomer and I refreshed, rebooted....tried every which way possible, and it still would not let me schedule. Not asking my Millennial sons because I don't want to hear the teasing....Boomer this, Boomer that, it's a wonder they made into adulthood with a schmuck Mom like me. Mark my words, those poor mopey Millennials will have their day! Those Gen Z's and Alphas will make mincemeat out of them. I digress, what I really want to say is the New Lenox USPS clerk April was so kind, patient and professional. I explained my dilemma, she understood and even though I did not have an appointment, she helped me file for a new passport. Even took a pic of me for my new passport. She was the BEST!!”

“I have visited this location several times and received good customer service. Although the store is very small it has always been organized. There is not plenty of parking so you might have to park a few spots away. However, there is handicap accessible parking for those who need it. The limited parking is probably the only thing I don't like about this location.”

“I have an Etsy shop so all I have to do is hand the packages to the person. I make sure he/she scans the packages and I ask for a receipt. All my orders have made is safely to their destination. I haven’t had any problems.”

“I purchased online and felt scammed since there was no clear email so I called the 127 Annex and Joe picked up. Tone was calm, he was patient and polite. I didn’t have a tracking number but he still checked my mails and upon returning I had the number. Joe checked several times and found out the carrier has my package to be delivered. Great job Joe!”

“I love going to the post office because im usually dropping off a fun package. I'm enthused for the recipient to receive it and I am usually given several options. It's difficult for all of us when there's only one person working the counter.”

“I always have a great experience at this post office, and Pam is a big reason why. The moment I walked in, she noticed I had grabbed the wrong envelope and, without me even having to ask, she kindly explained which one I actually needed. Not only was she helpful, but she also helped me save money. Every time I come in, Pam is attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant. She’s always willing to help, never seems to be in a bad mood, and consistently provides excellent customer service. Employees like her make all the difference. Thank you, Pam, for always going above and beyond!”

7230 W 171st St, Tinley Park IL 60477
“Came in today on September 20, 2025 and they opened at 8:23, not 8am as stated. While we waited in the lobby for the employees to open, you could hear people laughing and cackling in the back. After the long wait, I was told that the fingerprinting clerk was not available. There were no signs no warnings that this person was would not be available for the services I needed. Then I was directed to a far away post office and Park Forest.”

“I had a pleasant experience today with this post office! The worker was friendly and efficient, and I was so excited that they had the limited edition Barbie stamps I’ve been looking for. Would definitely go out of my way to come back here!”
