“Susie and Terry are nothing short of outstanding ! The Customer Service is the best ! My GMC Sierra had a horrible "shudder" and the local GMC Dealership said they could fix it for about $3,000 bucks. The Service Manager was nice enough to pull me aside and suggest I go to Moline Transmission. Seemed like Susie knew the issue before I walked in the door. lol.
Terry and I went out for a test drive and it was obvious he knew all about the GM/GMC "shudder". He suggested a fluid and filter change as per the GMC bulletin and what do you know ?!! Jackpot ! The perfect repair for under 500 dollars vs the dealerships 3 grand !

“I test drove a used vehicle at this dealership and was pleasantly surprised how much the salesman, Matt Truitt knew about a vehicle they don’t even sell new on their lot. Matt was very knowledgeable and knowing I was pressed for time, had the vehicle washed and running when I arrived to take it on a test drive. I did end up buying somewhere else but only because the vehicle was missing a couple of my “must-have” options. Matt said he would keep his eyes open for me and gave me his personal cell number to call if I had any questions, whether I bought from him or I found a vehicle somewhere else. I’ve never heard a salesman offer this before and was really taken back. If you’re looking for a car and they have what you’re looking for at this dealership, I would highly recommend Matt.”
“Bought a used 2022 Blue Pruis Hybrid 7-26-22. Drove from Oak Park to Moline 312 mile round trip to fine this hard to fine car. My Sales person Trop Knapp was welcoming helpful and accommodating. The dealership is immaculate and the entire dealership staff was very friendly. I drove the car home and arrived back (averaging 57.9 MPG) to Oak Park around 4 pm, a long day for me. “In April of 2022, I made contact with salesman Jeff Appleman at Hiland Toyota. I advised what I was looking for. Due to a shortage of parts and inventory due to the COVID fallout, I had to be put on an allocation list with a fully refundable $500 deposit. Jeff explained exactly how it worked and would keep me up to date monthly as to how things were going. Jeff did as he said he would. He contacted me monthly to let me know where I was on the allocation list. The one thing I appreciated was that Jeff did not try to push another model on me just to make the sale. After about five months, I received my first call from Jeff letting me know that they had an allocation of the model I wanted but the car did not have the exact extra's I wanted. Over the next two months, I would receive three more calls for new allocations and that I was finally #1 on the list for the model I requested. I still passed because I had already waited this long so I might as well wait until the vehicle I specifically wanted was available. In month eight, I received the call that the exact car I wanted with all of the correct upgrades was available and I was given a build date. Three weeks after the build date, the car was at the dealership. I showed up a few days later to pick it up. Jeff met me and we went through all of the necessary details along with a test drive of the vehicle in question. After the test drive, I met with the financial officer and negotiated my loan in addition to just a few optional upsells options. Tip..... the extended warranty is negotiable. Soon after I met with Jeff again and I was on my way home with my new car. All of the staff I came across while I was there were nice and accommodating. Nobody is pushy. The experience was excellent and should I ever buy a new Toyota again, I will definitely come to this dealership first. If you want a terrific non pushy experience, especially because you know exactly what you want, contact Jeff Appleman. I really believe this was a win/win for everyone involved. And just for the record, I realize this review will show being made by "Jeff A". It is purely coincidental. same first name and Last name initial but we are in fact two different people with no relation. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!”

He is aware that large repairs cost a lot, so he gave me multiple options I could consider, even if it meant checking out other places.
