“My husband and I have purchased a rug crafted in Tabriz from a blend of wool and silk from Moe at Beautiful Rugs and we couldn't even dream of better guidance and the outcome! As soon as we put a rug on the floor, we couldn't imagine our apartment without it. It became a true gem and attention grabber for our guests (even our parents, who are a bit hard to impress :)Buying a Persian rug for the first time is a leap of faith in a way, but Moe offered an outstanding selection of magnificent handmade masterpieces and was incredibly helpful with every detail we asked about. “I discovered this gem when I moved to Chicago in 2006. I got my first artificial Christmas tree here and could only afford that and a few ornaments at the time. It still remains my favorite store for holiday decor and one-of-a-kind gifts to this day. I shop here every year for holiday decor because I can’t get ornaments or decorations like this anywhere else. The service is stellar. Staff have totally put up with me calling to order products even now that I’ve moved to Colorado. Thank you so much for making my collection, so big and special.”

I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing.The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”

“I couldn't be happier with the amazing refinishing job Valentino and his team did on an old but beautiful ebony Baker dining table, a large 1780s chest, my daughter's childhood dresser and a vintage magazine holder. They are museum quality now -- and were a disaster before. Their attention to detail and expertise were amazing. And Valentino was so knowledgable and gracious to deal with that it made the whole experience a pleasure. His team expertly and carefully picked up the pieces and delivered them back to my Gold Coast home when they were finished. I smile every time I look at my refinished pieces. I never realized how happy this would make me. And his fees were very reasonable considering the superb quality. Thank you, Valentino!”

I first met Jared from Circa Modern six or seven years ago when he had a very notable booth at 20th Century Cincinnati . I have several pieces from Circa Modern that are definitely in my forever home. This week he was gracious enough to meet me in Chicago despite not being open, and gave me a detailed tour of the shop and new warehouse loft space. I filled my truck with exceptional quality goodies. Also got tips on good burritos nearby. I've been collecting for twenty five years and this is as good as it gets for vintage!”
