“Extreme kindness is something only found in places like this. From the minute you open the door and the bell rings you are greeted like family or indoctrinated into it! The store itself is stunning from room to room the place is full of ornate oddities and I always have so much fun looking at all the little displays! I’ve been frequenting this store my whole life ( I first visited when I was eight I’m now seventeen) and it’s always been a place I bring my city friends to give them a taste of culture. Today my boyfriend and I decided to burn some time and go visit, we did the whole sweep and saw so many treasures. We got to the clothing section and he picked up a brown duster coat (as I would describe it I wouldn’t know the exact type of coat) and he fell in love with it. Being high schoolers we knew we would have to risk it and save up for it and come back. So after trying it on, looking in the mirror and doing a twirl he put it back. He briefly talked to another customer about the jacket and hung it back up. We took an awsome picture in their Antique caddie car and as we were preparing to leave the owner walked up and said “it’s yours, another customer purchased it for you “ . There were tears of happiness and the gratitude lit up the room. Him and I left with a new understanding of kindness and giving. Just opening a the door and ringing the bell brought us more happiness than we would have if we didn’t. Thank you Harvey for your blessing for the coat, thank you to the kind family who bought it for my boyfriend and thank you to the owners for providing a destination spot for all searching for more. Truly a blessing ❤”
