Ideas n Designs is a favorite vintage and antique store located in the historic town of Mt. Carroll. The shop is spectacularly laid out with an Alice in Wonderland theme, making it feel like going down the rabbit hole. It is filled with a large selection of wonderful and unique finds, including amazing old cameras, clothes, hats, jewelry, vintage books, and even a very neat old vehicle. The building itself is really something to see, featuring an original deadweight elevator.
The owners are very sweet, kind, and fun, offering friendly and caring hosting. They greet visitors, tell them about the store, and are willing to offer affordable prices and bargain. The special experience includes being made tea to enjoy in a lovely library room. This adorable shop provides a truly special visit with high quality items and thoughtful care put into every detail.

Wow what a place! It is worth your time stopping here when you can catch them when they are open. Best antique store I have seen in many many years. So much variety and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. If you spend less then an hour there you missed half of the goodies.

Super cool antique store with lots of very striking and unique antiques, but a lot of the inventory seems like it cant move at all because of high pricing, even for a curated shop. Everything is still well organized, the store is huge with a library, 'garage' area, fabric section, craft section, and tons of other variety.

You could spend all day in this antique store, there is just so much to explore! I have gotten so many unique items here over the years and the owners are absolutely lovely! They are always willing to show you around and I love the little extra care put into their items. They are such a gem in the community.
