“Wow! I am just still blown away at how amazing this shop is. Just from social media, I had a good feeling. I showed up this morning and was greeted by the most friendly faces! Lori helped me for my day and she got what I loved right from the start! They let me try on many different dresses and each one was just incredible. Their collection hit all tastes. I went with my mom and 3 sisters. They had tissues ready and it was a great thing because when I put on the dress I loved, they made me close my eyes and really put myself about ready to walk down the aisle with a veil, flowers, crown, everything. When I opened I was a bride in the most perfect dress with the most amazing people surrounding me. It was a magical moment.
To all of the ladies that helped me. Thank you so much. You were all incredible. Thank you to Lori who took such great care of me and never made me feel rushed! There was another lady who helped us but her name escapes me but she helped me because I was stuck between two dresses and she really helped me decide between the two.
Seriously, I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are a plus size bride and are looking for a place that will find what looks best for you, this is the place!! I’m honored to be a Brides by Young bride!!!!?”

“Aga is a GENIUS with a needle and thread. She redesigned my daughter’s wedding dress to fit her like a glove as well as adding to the design to compliment her body. Aga’s talent to see want needs to be done and to implement the change with scissors, needle and thread is incomparable. She meticulously cut a section of the dresses train and applied it to the front of the dress for a more flattering neckline. Then she removed the train and realigned the skirt with a beautiful fullness. The finished dress is more exquisite than when we brought it in and it is impossible to tell, unless you look at before and after pictures, that anything was done to the dress. All of this plus the fact that Aga was a pleasure to work with. She is understanding, sensitive, professional and absolutely wonderful. I would entrust Aga with the most sensitive, difficult or challenging creations or alterations you may have. She is truly a genius!”

I had gone in with limited time and only 3 months before my wedding and they had me so surprised to what they were able to provide me with. “I had a wonderful experience dress shopping at Vanessa's! They had a huge range of styles within a very reasonable price range - which is hard to find at many shops. The stylist that worked with us was wonderful, attentive and was not at all pushy with making a sale. At no point during our visit did we feel rushed, as has been the case at other bridal shops. They have excellent haute couture to repair clothes!! In other places they lie to you and sell you what is on the sideboard or accumulated back. “I needed a barong for my 7 year old and my husband (arab) for my sister's wedding. It was last minute but ate charisma scheduled to meet three days later. She planned accordingly, asking for sizes, fabric, date of the event and told me to bring shirts because I wasn't going to bring either son or husband. When we met I was scared I wouldn't find the suite but she provided a map with thorough instructions. The staff knew to expect me and help guide me to the suite. Upon arriving i was offered beverages. I was then escorted to her suite and she had the barongs laid out as well as a book incase I didn't find something I want. She started with a presentation, a 101 on barongs and fabrics. I informed in our call I wanted the high end fabric so it looked polish and elevated. She had a few picked out but she nailed it. It was exactly what I needed. Please support small business owners, especially our very own chicago filipina, Charisma!”
