My husband drug me into the store! Every time he has said we need to go to get our phone bill fixed I would refuse! The last time we were there we were there for 6 hours (no joke!) and had to come back the next day to finish. This time we went in because the bill has looked wrong for a LONG time. Again, I dreaded going back after the last time. We went in and the manager sat down and explained the bill. We went over ways to lower the cost. I went home grabbed the kid and went back. This time Brandon helped us. He sat down and started to look at our account more in depth. My number had my daughter’s agreement and I had hers. It was all messed up. Brandon was VERY knowledgeable and polite. He treats you like a person and not another sale. He was able to fix the massive mess. We walked out with less of a monthly bill and 3 phones. This time it took about 2.5 hours but MUCH faster than the last time. So maybe my husband won’t have to drag me back.

After getting no where with the AT&T tech I was chatting with and my services being disrupted and being sent an email that my bill had changed, I decided to go into the store for help. What should have been a small, simple problem to fix, had become an infuriatingliy pesky situation.
Brandon was the tech who personally helped me. He worked diligently to figure out what was wrong with my phone. That wasn't an easy task to accomplish either. Also, while trying to figure out my problem, he graciously interacted with an overly aggitated and agressive couple and was able to settle them until someone could attend to their needs.
He was able to fix the issue with my phone and explain to me about the email. (Which turns out, I was just misreading it.)
Thank you Brandon for helping me today. I know it wasn't easy but I seriously appreciate it and I am very greatful!

UPDATE: Customer service just had to correct $263 extra charges to our account from the tricks this store is pulling! They had added a ghost line to the account On top of the hotspot, we were being charged for a phone line we never even had or asked for! STRAIGHT UP SCAMMING at this store!
It took us over four hours in the store for them to try to set up a hotspot, which they never did get activated. We had to call corporate customer service the next day who was able to activate it in five minutes and told us they had no clue why the store had been unable to get this accomplished. We were told in the store we would be getting a credit for having such an unreasonable wait time and bad experience but the credit was never applied and they kept making excuses of why it had not been given yet. Called and spoke the manager, Van, today. He was rude and condescending and informed us that his employees technically were not supposed to set up a hotspot without a phone line and that’s what all the trouble we had was from, and had the audacity to act like this was somehow our fault. (There was a manager on the phone with the employees when they were trying to get it activated so clearly management is aware and a party to this going on.) Then he told us if we called corporate customer service number that we should be warned that they might suspend the service since they had set it up that way.
Obviously all of this seemed very shady so we chose to call customer service anyway. They told us the store was probably doing all this to simply get commission for a new sale without any concern of the impact on the customer when trouble arises from it. The agent gave us another number to call on Monday to report all of this and see how they can resolve the mess the store made since we were never credited and our bill is almost triple what they told us it would be.
We don’t blame Olivia, the salesperson, at all. After speaking directly to the manager, it’s very obvious that these practices are completely acceptable and expected of the employees, and the culture of saying anything to the customer to make a sale comes from the top. Hopefully corporate can get to the bottom of all of this next week.
