“Love the staff the food and prices but 50/50 chance with the bathrooms. Either there is urine on the seat or it's full of #2 or today... Both. Not really the staffs fault for being worked hard and understaffed to where they didn't get a chance to get to them but mostly the society and people passing through. There's a thing called your foot, use it to lift the seat instead of urinating on it, you can also flush with your foot, Or just use the toilet paper provided and flush but that's a big brain move and I understand if you lost the concept.
I would hate to see what your home bathroom looks like. Disgusting”

“Great place to stop and get gas, something to eat or drink. Gas was $3.19a gallon. If you are a loyalty member it was $3.14 a gallon. That was this morning. Parking lot was very clean. Went inside to get something to drink,store very neat and clean. Staff very friendly.”

“Stopped here on 2-1-26 at 6pm. Staff was professional and friendly; had not trouble fueling my semi. Staff takes pride in managing the store; as it was clean all around—restroom, drink and food bar, and showers. And clean microwave(something you don’t see at many clean stores).There’s no laundry on site. @memerios1020”

“The pizzas are AMAZING!! Everything from the breakfast, and the taco pizza to the supreme pizza they are all very tasty. Almost forgot to mention the biscuits and gravy. They are delicious also. Bathrooms seem to be clean most of the time.”

“This was a nice pit stop. Bathroom was clean (womens) and clerk was friendly. A one stop for anything you could need/want. I was hungry for something salty. They had both the large bags and smaller bags of snack items. I opted for a small 2.5 Oz of pork cracklings which I love and usually get on a trip down south. Ironically I'm on my way back North and in IL but there they were and here I was so it looks like I got my pork cracklings after all.”

“Best place in town to get soda! They have the cheapest polar pops in town, for only 97c! That's cheap for a cup as big as a Big Swigg. They have lovely customers and I always rate excellent on the new rating machines! I absolutely love to go here on my free time and purchase a few drinks for the family! Definitely recommend if you need a drink ;)”

“I find the staff at this location to be the most helpful and friendly. The manager is an awesome man and does a great job. The store is always clean and well stocked and he even keeps the receipt paper in the pumps working. Due to sickness and people changing jobs the manager is there for long hours at times. But he stills greets the customers with a cheery Hello.”

“Stopped here for fuel and to take the doggos out for a walk...it was a bit crowded and there are a lot of other fuel stations around to keep the price competitive. I didn't go inside so I can't comment on that. But the fuel isle and parking lot was fairly clean. Someone even put a sign near the truck entrance that said free masks! And had masks hanging from it. It was a nice thought. There are a lot of restaurant options here and nearby. A Walmart was across the street.”
“The CVS store in Mt. Vernon Illinois is the best. They are always so friendly and helpful. I never have any problems with my service and I highly recommend this story for all your health and beauty products.

“Regular ole Walgreen's. Always clean and nice but their prices are a little high for me.. Unless I use my rewards and get a good deal. Or I find the occasional super cheap-marked down-close out item that I actually need! Those always make my day!!Lol ?”
“The store associates are most helpful but the pharmacy is always backed up, needs help and prescriptions are slow to be filled. I send all of my short-term scripts, such as antibiotics, to another pharmacy because they will be ready immediately.”

“This Pilot is very clean. I especially appreciate the updated and very clean restroom. We were there at 6 a.m. so the restroom appeared fully stocked, and toilets, floor, and sink area were all extremely clean. Pics below. Thank you Pilot. Gas was $3.21/gallon, which seemed rather high compared to some of the other areas we’ve visited in the last 2 days while traveling.”

Amanda drove out to get her, got her enough gas to get to the Travel Stop, and then ensured she got on her way again. Heck of a great story and the kind of thing that renews our faith in humanity!
