“We always stay here when we come to visit our grandchildren. They love the pool and love the breakfast. V is always over-the-top with her hospitality and makes the kids feel so special.
Our last day there, they were cleaning the pool so we didn’t get to take them swimming but we still had a great time there. Staff is always friendly, food is good, rooms are clean!”

My stay at the Holiday Inn Suites in Mount Vernon was one of the most comfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing — from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The gentleman from the kitchen staff stood out for being quick, efficient, and genuinely kind.
What impressed me most was the people of Mount Vernon themselves. They were beautiful inside and out — polite, warm, and sincerely living out their values. Their kindness and smiles made the whole stay even better.
The hotel itself was spotless and well-kept. Even with guests constantly coming and going, the housekeeping team did a remarkable job keeping everything clean and inviting. The décor was lovely, and the atmosphere felt welcoming throughout.

First off, a massive thank you to the amazing owners, Simmy and her wonderful husband, for being such fantastic hosts! From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed. Their kindness, hospitality, and hands-on approach made this stay unforgettable — they genuinely care about their guests and it shows in every detail.

A huge shoutout to Bev, the daytime receptionist, who is absolutely beautiful inside and out. She goes above and beyond to assist guests. When I was struggling to get a cab (which is no easy task in Mount Vernon), Bev personally called up to four different cab companies, even using her own phone to make it happen. She's also full of great recommendations — from the best places to eat to fun things to do in the area. She's a true asset to the hotel and one of the reasons the place feels so welcoming.

Now let’s talk about Max, the virtual receptionist from India — what a great experience! Max is polite, patient, and incredibly well-spoken. He’s a great listener and takes his time with each guest. He’s become a favorite among house guests — many even enjoy hanging around just to have a chat with him. He adds a unique and personal touch that you don’t find at most hotels.

The rooms are top-notch clean, thanks to the hardworking cleaning staff — a lovely man and woman who always greet you with a smile and a friendly “hello.” The ice machine always works, which is a rare but appreciated detail.

Breakfast is fresh, plentiful, and constantly refilled, so you’ll always start your day off right.

The hotel’s location is another major plus. You’ve got McDonald’s, Arby’s, Applebee’s, Popeyes, Freddy’s Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, and JJ’s Restaurant just a short 2-minute walk away. There’s also a Walmart right across the street, and a cinema just behind the hotel — everything you need is right there.

This hotel has heart, hospitality, and the best staff around. I’m giving it a solid 5 stars, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended”

“Ive stayed there several times rooms are clean the maintenance guy Mike does a great job he's the backbone of this Motel he goes above and beyond his duties to help customers out from what I have observed during each of my stays. The place is somewhat outdated but comfortable.

The room was very comfortable and clean. No bed bugs and a smoke free zone. The beds were very comfortable. I was able to take a nice warm shower to wake me up with bright eyes and a busy tail. 1000 stars.”
