“I'll be honest, this place used to drive me crazy. There was never enough help and I would wander around the store frustrated. The last year however the people that work there have been amazing and I am really impressed with this place! Brandon and Paul are awesome and Bianca was cool too. There's also a guy with a white beard who's nice...oh and someone who cut some wood for me one time. All around great, thanks guys!”

“I had placed an order online and picked it up at this Long Grove location. When I went to return it to a different Menards (Mt Prospect) because I was in that area, the manager, Jerry, refused to take my items back. I called Long Grove, spoke with Stacy, she went out of her way to follow up, call me back, and accept my return. Terrific customer service, Stacy! Thank you. I'll never shop Menards Mount Prospect again.”

“I had a phenomenal experience shopping here. Tom in millwork was incredibly helpful, detail oriented, and personable. I really enjoyed having him support me.Kelcy was also extremely helpful, as Tom wasn't as familiar with the new ordering system. Kelcy, seeing an opportunity to help, sensed I was in a rush and aided me in completing the transaction and taught Tom along the way. I'm not sure if Kelcy is a manager or not, but he sure seemed like he had the chops to be one. Unbelievably efficient and charismatic.”

“Nick and Shania are amazing and deserve 1000 stars for customer service. I am a dedicated home depot shopper but sometimes things just don't go right and dont go right times 3. And when that happens it's nice to know that there are people like them that are on the customer service team to help you while you're having your meltdown. It took 3 months and 3 orders and one price change but it finally came in undamaged, and the price change honored. What can i say other than this is why i am a dedicated home depot shopper.”

“Retail Stores are difficult to review, because it's all about the layout, mobile site, and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Home Depot is no different from any other home remodeling store, except I find their stores are much easier to locate items than other stores. I can be in and out of the store in 10mins because it's easy to navigate. For those who don't shop at Home Depot very often, then your smart phone will be your best friend. Simply search their site for product (make sure you to have the right location) and in return their site will provide the aisle and Bin#. Super Helpful. A store isn't a great store without great employees. I had a question about a product and one of their employees took his time to explain the pros and cons of several different products depending on the nature of or current situation. This allowed us to make a sound decision on which product to purchase.”

“As a handyman, Menards is my go-to place! This is the only place I go to pick up building materials. You can drive right up to lumber piles in the lumber yard which makes loading super efficient. BE sure to go to the building materials desk and get a pick ticket. You can take the pick ticket to the checkout line and then pull your truck into the lumber yard in back for the most efficient loading!”

“Large two story store. Fun to walk around and shop. Usually if it's sold out at the Menards closer to me we will take a trip here and they usually have it.”

“AUSTIN?? This review is long overdue??‍♂️ So to my man's Austin I apologize in advance but I do sincerely hope that you have moved on to higher and new positions. Austin was top tier. You have people who work there and people who just come to work. Well, Austin was the CEO of his own company with the innate qualities of a leader, a can do attitude, and the ability and willingness to do. I had literally watched and heard him assisting another customer. Call it weird but I mean he was handling his. business. He approached the guy in a caring but bold manner, with a confident voice and tone assuring in so many words, that he'd most certainly be able to help him. And help him he did. Had the guy out of there in no time!Well I had went to the next aisle over and was thinking to myself, "shheeesh this kid has potential to definitely be someone great. I wonder what his life is like, how he's become who he is, what exactly did he go through, and if he's put any thought into his future." Legit thoughts, and then out of the blue I hear his voice saying, "Hey do you need any help today?" Whatttt!?!? Let's be real, the average employee would've went off elsewhere to relax having filled their quota. My mans literally was looking for people to help! That's call top tier customer service. And help me he did, I was done within minutes after he helped me.HomeDepot needs more Austin's for real. That's why I'm apologizing for the lateness of this review. My visit there was in August of 2023, the weekend of the 12th. So if he's still there, a manager or HomeDepot yourself, somebody please do right by him.”
