“I'm a homeowner, not a contractor. I went in to buy some trim paint that had been used in my home and thought I had puzzled out what I needed. When I mentioned my contractor's first name, the person working at the counter told me that no, that painter actually uses a different product. The fact that he listened, knew my contractor, cared enough to have a conversation, and got me the right paint is great customer service. To them, the sale was only a gallon of paint. “This is long overdue, but I wanted to give a shout out for the service I received at this location. I needed to have some SEM-brand paint (Warm Gray) matched to a sample part I painted with a rattle can. One of the women that worked in the Waukegan location did a phenomenal job matching it for me. The original mix formulation for a quart size specified by the manufacturer wasn't quite right so she was accepted the challenge to manipulate the color to nearly perfect. I wish I could remember her name and give her full recognition.”

My only complaint, which is related to Sherwin Williams & not this particular location is that they don’t have a smaller sample paint size. I’ve spent a lot of money so far on samples as I am painting my whole house at the moment.”

“I’ve been coming to this location for years and they are all amazing! We had a crew come in that we hired and redo our ceilings with new drywall , they primed our ceilings and then we painted them. The crew didn’t prime them correctly which resulted in us having to re prime and paint. The customer service from this location was absolutely amazing, they got one of their upper management to contact me to make sure we fixed our ceilings the correct way which we did! Thank you again for making sure it was done correctly”
