“We were at a church for 30 years within Naperville. The very first message was a bit hard to take in. The pastor gets very excited about teaching so extensively and so wants his congregation to know all Our Lord wants us to know. I had to get used to his excitement and quick speaking ability to fit in all he can. After this I thanked Our Lord for leading us to a church that speaks God ‘s truth in love. I teared up feeling as though I were at the feet of an apostle preaching his Lord’s words. I would highly recommend this if you want more. “Came from out of town - both my sister and I are Presbyterian (me EPC, her OPC) and wanted our family to try a Presbyterian church! We loved the service. People were kind, sanctuary was distraction free and comfortable. The teaching was sound, convicting and encouraging. The music is fantastic with carefully selected, theologically edifying lyrics. They are Presbyterian, so show up on time - they start on the dot. I was surprised at how contemporary the service is though; if you are looking for a heavily liturgical church, at least the Sunday we were there it was pretty liturgy-free. Great church! I hope to go back someday when I’m in town!”
