This is a good cheapie store for a lot of little things you may need around your house and seasonal supplies. It's not a good looking store, it's outdated and shows its age pretty badly and can get crowded but the prices are better than most stores but the quality is better than stuff at the Dollar stores. I've not bought food items here but if you need soap or handtowels or the like this is the place

Expensive for most items, but the candy prices are dope. I recommend the Strawberry Creme Savers (!) and Jelly Belly Flops, myself.

Lots of things at very reasonable prices. I bought a cast iron 18 x 10 inch revsibal griddle for half of what others charged for the same unit.

Big Lots is the retail equivalent of a surprise party—where every aisle promises a plot twist of bargains you never saw coming. Picture this: you pop in for a toaster and emerge with a cart that screams, "But wait, there's more!"—including, somehow, a garden gnome that now feels essential. Staffing might be on the leaner side, but who needs a crowd when you've got the MVP of customer service? This one incredibly nice lady there has the magical ability to make you feel like you're the only shopper in the store, possibly the universe. It's like having a personal shopping assistant who cheers you on as you make questionable life choices, like that third set of string lights (because, why not?). Big Lots, where you go for the prices but stay for the unexpected joys (and garden gnomes).
While there is no self-check which sad reflects the amount of customers there is no shortage of supplies. I truly can’t tell you the satisfaction I get paying 2017 prices compared to 2024.

Big lots is a discount store that you can find great prices on almost anything. They also have furniture rugs and beds to purchase. As well as large amounts of seasonal items, outdoor patio furniture, home decor all and very good prices.Big lots also has a huge selection of food items but you have to be careful that they are in date. Plenty of parking at this location right near Harlem and dempster..

Marvelle who is the sales furniture lead was absolutely excellent! Incredibly helpful, just beyond amazing. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and he’s very diligent! I was not expecting fantastic customer service from this big lots store but was blown away! Marvelle deserves a promotion!
