Jewel-Osco, located at 5667 W Touhy Ave, Niles, IL, is a grocery store that offers a variety of services to meet shoppers' needs. The store features a well-stocked produce department, a bakery with custom cakes and cupcakes, and a deli that provides party trays and platters. Customers can also utilize the Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™ program for added convenience. The pharmacy is available for immunizations and prescription refills.
Reviewers generally describe the store as neat and well-stocked, with friendly staff who are helpful. However, some customers have noted issues such as dim lighting, a strange odor, and occasional unhelpful interactions with employees. There are mixed experiences with cashiers, with some feeling off or unengaged. Notably, customers appreciate the sushi options, especially at a low price.
Despite a few concerns, many shoppers have a fondness for Jewel-Osco, citing it as a favorite place for groceries and expressing a desire for more locations. Overall, it remains a convenient grocery option in the area.
Just moved to the area. Used to shopping at Safeway (same owners, same basic app) and Jewel stores have most of the same stuff, but not quite as good a selection. Otherwise very familiar, and good prices if you use the app.
