“HUGE line when I first got there all the way down an aisle, the guys were professional about it, got a other register open and within like 5-7min got those lines down to one or two customers each. By the time I checked out it was quick and easy, and I had a lot of groceries. I use this location every week.”
“This was at least my second visit to the Niles GFS in the last month or so, both times for a specific product that has been very difficult to find at other stores that once sold it. Our closest GFS store in Evanston sadly closed a few years ago, so the Niles store is the next closest, although a little bit of a drive. While successful in finding and purchasing this product my previous visit, I was sadly met with an empty container as the product had been sold out. I asked the cashier Cookie whether or not they expected more anytime soon. She referred me to store manager (?) Zoey who searched her computer to look it up and asked how many I wanted. She said it looked like they received a case and would go to the back and check. A few minutes later Zoey appeared holding a case in her arms and proceeded to open it again asking how many I wanted. I asked how many were in the case (I wasn't going to take the WHOLE case, I was definitely going to leave some for other customers like me who may have driven to the Niles GFS store specifically looking for this product), so I decided on just how many I originally wanted, plus a couple extra to save me from making another special trip before the holidays. Zoey explained they were likely out of stock from the recent holiday which totally made sense. I was extremely grateful for the kindness and wonderful customer service shown by both Cookie and Zoey throughout my entire interaction with them. I've always loved shopping at GFS when we had a location much closer, but will DEFINITELY be returning to this Niles GFS store location when I'm in the area, or when I run out again! Thanks so much Zoey and Cookie for making my wife so happy!!

“Very polite, friendly, and attentive staff! Wonderful homemade authentic products and a large selection of different products from all over the Middle East and the world!”
“Always busy, affordable prices, the staff I asked was very helpful, I don't know why some people give rating when they had bad experience but not with good experience !!.”
“Best turon in town! We’re always proud to bring Ian May’s turon to gatherings, and it’s always a crowd favorite. We even brought a whole tray to Michigan for a church gathering — after a 3–4 hour drive and being served the next day, the turon was still impressively crispy!
It may be a small place, but the quality of their Filipino desserts is top-notch. For anyone unfamiliar, turon is a Filipino dessert made with ripe banana, sometimes with
jackfruit, wrapped in pastry and fried until golden, crisp, and caramelized. We’ve tried several around Chicagoland, but nothing beats Ian May’s turon.
Tiny shop, mighty turon. Absolute favorite!”
“Have been going to Brillakis since I was a little girl! Dad and mom always shopped there. The service is always fantastic and the Brillakis family the best! Great prices and they always accommodate everyone. Wouldn’t change them for the world.”
“Best Iraqi food for the price. If you’re looking for five star service than maybe you can go to the ritz Carlton. But if you like 5 star food this place is perfect.
I had a very good experience and the service was good. I’ll be back for sure.”

“This is hands down the best grocery store in the area. The produce is always incredibly fresh, the aisles are clean and well-organized, and they keep the shelves fully stocked. What really sets them apart, though, is the staff everyone is consistently friendly, helpful, and efficient at checkout. Shopping here is actually a pleasure. Highly recommend!”

“Just moved to the area.
Used to shopping at Safeway (same owners, same basic app) and Jewel stores have most of the same stuff, but not quite as good a selection.
Otherwise very familiar, and good prices if you use the app.”
“Went to get a bouquet, and Rosemary from the floral department was so kind and helpful. She picked out the perfect flowers, and it turned out lovely! Would definitely recommend!!”
“I ordered custom cakes and cupcakes from this location a few times and the cakes were perfect and beautiful each and every time! The Superman cake, heart cake, and butterfly flower pot cupcakes were all perfectly executed. Placing the orders was very easy, I placed some on the phone and some in-store.”
“I just wanted to thank one of the workers for having the best attitude and energy I have ever seen at a pharmacy. They quickly answered my questions and help me immediately. I believe their name was James or Jane? Highly recommend!!”
“Mariam in bakery was the kindest, and most helpful employee that’s ever helped me. She went absolutely above and beyond to help me! I wish her all the best, and I wish to see her every time I go there!”
“I've become somewhat of a regular here. Extra star for the pharmacy. Self checkout is always staffed, but manned cashier lines are friendly and helpful. Good selection, and if you use their app, plenty of deals, coupons and rewards.”
