I've tried a handful of gyms in the area but Fox River Strength & Conditioning is easily my favorite. The gym is huge and well maintained. The community is my favorite part. You have everyone from almost every walk of life and everyone is so supportive and welcoming. It's also one of the only gyms in the area that follows its own programming. Tom, the owner of the affiliate, does the programming and is very knowledgeable about progressive overload and corrective exercise. I've been training my entire life but since starting at FRSC 6 months ago I've progressed SO much! CrossFit can be a bit intimidating but I promise you'll love it! The first week is free and the first month is discounted so you can try it out.

Best gym I've been a part of! I was nervous going into my first class, but Tom and the community made me feel welcomed and comfortable working out. Tom is very knowledgeable and can help any member with technique, workout scales, or correctional exercises. Now two years later of being a member of the gym, I've made lifelong friends and have improved my health. If you want to feel healthier, exercise with friends, and get stronger then FRSC is the place for you!

Drop in friendly. Tom is very responsive to emails. He's also a very attentive coach without being a helicopter. Gym is large and well laid-out, as well as being exceptionally clean. 3 different flooring sections for different skills was a very unique and cool feature. Very friendly members. Great signage outside to help you find them if it's your first visit!

Three months in, I'm the fittest I've ever been and the FSRC community has me motivated and engaged!I'm 46 and had never had any regular exercise regimen until starting CrossFit at North Aurora's FSRC. The patient coaches guided me through the basic motions, and trained me into the right habits that keep me from injury while building up my strength. They scale the workouts down to a level I can always do and build from.Even though I'd never lifted a barbell before, now I can.It's fun, challenging and rewarding!Each class begins with a warmup addressing the exact muscles we'll be focusing on during our workout. The workouts are simple movements with time limits that turn hard work into a game. We all sweat through it together, blowing past whatever limits we thought we had, and end with fist bumps and high fives.The community has the perfect blend of kindness, camaraderie and humor.I've been welcomed to the team and feel like I'm part of the club!

A chose Fox River strength of conditichin because I was tired of going to the gym and having people looking at me questioning me on if I know how to use the machines or not or tell me I'm not doing it the right way from my initial consultation with Nancy I felt very comfortable. She walked me through the steps and what they do and what they are about. I was nervous my 1st class but the coaches are phenomenal they scale stuff down For you and don't try to push you beyond your limits. But push you just enough so you get a great workout

I’m beyond happy that I found this gym. Everyone is super welcoming and I feel amazing after every workout. If you’re thinking about it I’d say just go for it. You won’t regret it!

For someone who has never trained at a CrossFit gym, FRSC has been an awesome place to start and advance further. The coaches do an excellent job of working with you as an individual even In the larger classes. Both the trainers and other athletes are very welcoming as well. 5 stars to trainer Tom

I started individual coaching sessions with Blake about 10 weeks ago. After my hip replacement my affected leg was weaker than my other leg. I am bicycle training and 50/50 balance is important. I have noticed significant strength improvements due to the training. Also I have significantly less knee pain due to the training. I have been through multiple courses of physical therapy and none were as effective as this training.

This is a great place to get fit! Blake is an awesome trainer and makes my daily workouts fun and I honestly look forward to going everyday. I’ve been doing the hybrid program since I joined and I love it. I wake up every morning checking my app to see what workout Blake loaded in for me that day. I honestly haven’t been this excited to work out everyday in a long time. It’s painful (but fun too) going thru the workouts everyday and I haven’t regretted one day of it since starting 3 months ago! If you are looking for a challenge and a great place to work out with a really strong atmosphere- you need to join this place!

I have had an amazing experience as a first time Cross Fit Athlete starting out at FRSC, the coaches are all extremely knowledgeable and make every workout scaled to your specific level in order to avoid getting injured and to progress appropriately. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to get into a Cross Fit program!

I love Fox River Strength and Conditioning CrossFit! My only regret is not joining them sooner. I've never played sports, barely exercised in my life and was terrified of what to expect. One of the best thing I love about FRSC is all the coaches at FRSC meet you at your physical abilities and safely progress you by creating scalable exercises that you build upon. The FRSC coaches are amazing and each adds their own touch. They all know how to push me just enough to improve my fitness. I am doing things that I honestly never thought possible. Although, I have lots of room for improvement, I know by continuing with CrossFit FRSC I will reach my personal goals with the guidance of such an elite coaching staff. I started off with Foundation Sessions with Coach Paul, who not only is all-time athlete and expert and at coaching, he inspired me to believe myself, to be proud of even the most subtle changes and helped me connect the physical, mental and emotional changes that training brings to my life (LIFE CHANGING)!!!!!!. Once I completed Foundations , I joined Rockstar Coach Blake for the AM classes. Coach Blake is an ENTIRE VIBE who creates majic each and every class!!!!!! He is the glue that bonds our diverse group together. His ability to have each member meet our individuals goals, yet still work with us as a team is absolutely mind-blowing (Crossfit GURU)!!!!!!!I wouldn't be doing FRSC any justice if I didn't rave about the AMAZING members. Everyone is so supportive, goofy, encouraging and most importantly, some of the most FUN personalities to be around. We are such a diverse group and everyone makes you feel like family. We are all there to improve our personal best and support each other in the process! I could honestly say that joining FRSC was one of the BEST decisions of my life and I am grateful and proud to be a lifelong member!!!!!!!Looking back at day one, I am amazed at how far I progressed, how amazing my body feels and all the accomplishments I have made at reaching my physical goals. FRSC, YOU ARE THE BEST AND THANKS FOR MAKING ME PART OF THE FAM.

A very good little hidden gem in North Aurora, Fox River Strength and Conditioning is a wonderful place to work out, get healthy and feel better about yourself.
