REI Upper Management: You are taking big risks w/your apparrent/emerging anti-union policies. As a member, when we travel/camp across the US when we need to pick something up we first look for a local REI. For example when we were just down in winter park fl passing through we visited the store twice for purchases. I put you on warning, as a member if you continue this policy I will cancel my membership and shop at one of the many other retail options. As a social worker, past union member and son of a long time union cab driver mother you are violating important worker protection values!

REI! This place is like Costco for outdoors people! You always say you're going to go in and buy one thing and then you walk out a couple hundred dollars poorer at the end of the experience! The salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction. If you are a member you can get a deep discount using your dividend points and also the REI return section is a great place where you can find great deals as well. Overall I give REI a five out of five stars for ambience, selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices. Until next time this is Robbie the Review Guy wishing you success on all of life's adventures!

Very good REI location. You can find pretty much any outdoor equipment you can think of with a good variety of choices in terms of brands. I've talked to a few employees and they seem to know their stuff when it comes to the gear.

Marc is a gem! He was so helpful! He took the time to listen to what we needed and made great suggestions! In a time where customer service doesn’t really exist, I was blown away by his embodiment of true customer service! Thank you for your help Marc! I highly recommend this location and Marc as the person to assist you!

Pretty upset about my recent experience here. I went in looking for a lawn chair for my toddler after doing research and seeing they sold good quality kid's lawn chairs here. I was wanting one for my toddler after he tried to climb in and out of mine recently. When I came into the store, they had about 10 chairs out. I assume so you could test sit in them? We found the kid's chairs, but I thought I would let my toddler try the other chairs to see if he liked any of the others. But also, as a parent, I personally try and make things fun for my kid, when reasonable. So there was a swinging chair I let my toddler try out. I was right in front of him, supporting the chair, letting him swing in it. This worker saw us about 20 feet away and yelled "THAT'S NOT FOR KIDS! THAT'S NOT FOR KIDS!" I will admit it was her being more frantic, and to give her the benefit of the doubt, possibly concerned? She did come over and said again "That's not for kids." Then explained a bit how it can flip kids over so that's why she tries to let people know. And that made sense. But I just didn't appreciate being chastised like I'm some immature teenager messing around. And even though she explained eventually, she still probably could have went about this with a lot better tact. I'm in my 30s. I'm not a child. Also, if this happens a lot, maybe they should put a sign that says it's not for kids. Mean while, my child tried the "kid's" lawn chair which he ended up falling multiple times because it was so light weight it wasn't substantial enough when he tried to back into it and sit down. So ... you tell me which is safer? And what if I bought the chair myself, she wouldn't have known if my kid used it or not when I went camping or to a sporting event. Again, if this was such a big deal, a sign should be there not to sit in it or not for kid's to sit in it. Not exactly a great store experience when you are embarassed trying to buy a lawn chair.

I usually have a good experience at this REI, but the line management isn’t great. Last time I was in, the cashiers were talking excessively to customers while others (myself included) were waiting in line.Other employees were walking around as if customers weren’t waiting. I ended up putting my items back and leaving.

I've never had a bad experience here. Everytime I go, the employees greet me and ask if I need help finding anything. Whenever I've needed help, they've shown me to the right area and even helped me pick out which item suited me best. Last time I got a sleeping pad and the employee told me there was going to be a deal soon and to come back when the deal was happening to get the discount. Super sweet employees. And another time I complimented the cashier on an REI pin he had on his shirt and he gave it to me. I wasn't event asking for it but it was so sweet since I collect pins for my bags and such. I totally recommend REI for your outdoors store.

Very friendly and helpful staff, I also like that the store was very organized as I’ve found other locations are kinda messy. I appreciated the sales girl that managed to help me find the right pair of running shoes despite having other customers she managed to attend all of us.

REI often does not have sizes for large people. I always shop at REI before I’ll go anywhere else. Today I needed a bath towel. Not disappointed!Don’t touch anything you don’t need or you’ll buy something you don’t need. Now I am a bachelor with titanium silverware. I did accidentally touch a $90 shirt but I didn’t get it and now I want it. Srsly. Don’t touch anything you don’t need. Can’t find travel size Dr Bronner’s peppermint tingle soap anywhere but here.
