I feel terrible I forgot her name but she was a young blood lady with colored eyes, beautiful hand tattoos and the first name started with an N or an M. “Good stuff! As with Chicago Goods next door, this is a bit of a boutique gift place, but for pets! With Edgebrook being a little more fancy, this is a place that sells very fancy dog food by the weight. My dog is fine with the mass store brand one thank you, but they have a ton of awesome treats, including chew sticks. I think this is the hidden gem of this place. They have a large variety of rawhides, bully sticks, and others. You can also get a dog biscuit and a variety of other things. Like I mentioned for Chicago Goods, if you need a cool quick gift, this is also the place to be for your "friend". Everybody working here is very nice too and while the prices are a little high, you are getting good quality!”

“I saw this cute little store while I stopped by Pete's for some coffee. I was attracted to the store with their cute pet display so I thought I'd check it out. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed assistance. I initially went in to look around but ended up buying a few things to try for my fuzzy baby. I was pleased to find that they had a lot of brands that I've only seen online. I'm trying out the open farms kibble to see how my girl likes it. I also got the meal toppers to try and a few treats. This was such a cute store and their prices were affordable considering they carry quality items. Will definitely come back to try more of their offerings and maybe bring the pup next time.”

“I am so happy Bark Place is nearby. The staff is super friendly and they seem to genuinely care about the dogs. I take my dog Cali for day care periodically and she enjoys her time there. One of the best things about Bark Place is their flexibility and personal attention. One time, I wanted to use day care but I knew I wasn't able to pick her up before closing and several staff members figured out a way to take care of my dog until I could get there. I feel like they are real dog lovers and know and understand the difficulties we have making sure our pets are safe and happy. I am very grateful that Bark Place is in Rogers Park!”

“I worked there briefly as receptionist. Terrific staff and very professional. One thing bothered me.. their house shampoo was Dawn dishwashing liquid unless client had their own or working with specific groomer. DAWN is used on wildlife when industrial catastrophe happens. I hope by now she use dog pH balanced shampoo. Maybe Dawn works. I do know one friend who had her dog groomed there. She was treating treating her dog with vet prescribed meds for skin issue. Then I told her of Dawn... she started bringing own shampoo. Prob solved.Even dog shampoo can cause issues... just Dawn? Clients should always be informed.I have a doggy.. I care for her grooming. If I needed a groomer would I go to Dog Wash?Heck yes!”

“I typically go to the kildeer location, but today I had a 2 bags of food delivered. One bag came from somewhere else and one bag came from here. The delivery bag had our name and some cute paw prints drawn on and inside there was a little goodie bag with samples, treats, store info and in our receipt letter there was a cute drawing as well. I haven't gone inside this location but it seems like there members and Melissa are very friendly and are doing an amazing job or going above and beyond”
