DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY -pay a bit more for quality elsewhere HORRIBLE QUALITY GLASSES‼️‼️‼️They don’t back up the frames, their lenses were scratched after a month as well as the frame… They give you a state of hassle for everything there! There’s not enough service people you sit around for 40 minutes. They suck.I’m 58, these are the worst quality glasses I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve had them for six weeks and they’re all scratched up, there’s no lens protection. Oh, and you get one coverage to replace them but you have to leave your glasses, so if you don’t have another way of seeing your SOL .JUNK STORE JUNK SERVICE JUNK QUALITY ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Love the bulk options and the free samples. Could almost get a whole meal out of how many they set up! Always packed no matter when I go though.

This place has the absolute worst traffic flow of any Costco I've ever been to. It was clearly built to adapt to the space vs the space to adapt to the store. Gas prices are always a bit higher however because it's in a higher end area they tend to get higher end one-off luxury products like Patagonia, etc. Standard costco, remember to pack your patience before making a journey!

Dr. Emma Loyfman is a great optometrist and an even better person. I went in late last year to have my eyes checked, and really enjoyed my conversation with her. I've never owned glasses and needed something for driving at night in particular. She really dialed in my prescription as I had slightly different vision in each eye. After getting the eye exam I came back a few days later to purchase the frames and the young lady was very helpful and patient also. A+ all around experience.Thank you Dr. Loyfman really appreciate you!

Love Costco! This one is located in Oak Brook. Like others it's pretty busy and the parking lot can be a cluster. Inside on busy days, people are constantly running into one another. The gas station outside is adjacent to the parking lot, so traffic can be a nightmare. The store is well-stocked and pretty clean. Love their frozen salmon burgers the best.

Never been so frustrated, bye bye Costco vision!I had my vision checked and new prescripts last July and then got a new pair of lenses on my old frame. It felt sharp the second I put it on, but I start to feel dizzy after 30 minutes and my headache would force me to take it off after 3 hours. At first, I guessed it could be that my brain needed some time to get use to it. So I tried and tried by months, and it wasn't getting better. I finally put it in the box and waited until this year when my new Vision policy is effective and went to another eye doctor for cross checking. Finally I found out the reason, because the doctor from costco put some CYL number in my prescription which I don't need.I went back to costco to find out why they did that, and the front-desk lady asked to come back this Saturday since the same doctor would come and check it for me for free. Thus I came, and I was 10 minutes late, my bad. I was told to be waited for a couple of minutes, and I waited for about 1 hour before the lady told me that the same doctor would not come and I could talk to another doctor; and since it has been more than 6 months, I need to pay for the follow-up. OK, if the same Doctor wouldn't come, why didn't you tell me in the first place and make the appointment on another day? If you didn't know in advance, why didn't you tell me when I showed up? When we made the appointment, we brief chatted and agreed that it was a follow-up and check whether there were mistakes in the first prescription, and it should be free, and it ended up with another rule that I needed to pay. Even if it is right to pay, the lady should have made it clear.Anyway, it was waste of time and money, and the only thing right to do was to stop wasting more.I walked away, it is not a place I can trust and I will never come back.Follow up after a week or so.I went to another vision center, and I was told I can't have my benefit from VSP for a new frame. I contacted VSP and VSP told me I already used the frame benefit last year, which is not true. What might happen was Costco billed to my insurance for reusing my old frame. This is disgusting.

Their pharmacy is the worst!! Rude rude rude!! They are the only pharmacy that makes you show your ID every time you come in. They are SLOW!! The only reason I was going there is because they were a lot cheaper than other pharmacies. But I do recommend going somewhere else! And as for the store as a whole some people are really nice some are terrible!!

After driving 45 minutes to get to Costco, then finding a parking spot, then spending at least half an hour choosing items and adding them to my cart, imagine my frustration when a woman in the checkout area started shouting out that no credit cards were able to be processed, you could only pay cash. YIKES.

I purchased 4 tires for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I had to make an appointment for installation because, the tires were not in stock at the Oak Brook warehouse. Never received a call when they came in. Costco tires dept. personal informed me my lug nut were slightly oversized due to wear, age, and rust. They could not torque them to factory specifications on my 10 year old vehicle that is my daily drive. I told them I didn't need them torqued to factory specifications, to put them on and if needed I'll tighten them manually with a 4 way lug wrench. I was told they can't do that it against their policy. I got my money returned. Went down the street to a competitor and they had 4 tires in stock, $25.00 less than Costco price, installed. I am not renewing my membership at Costco. I would not give them this one star but Yelp won't post my review until I click on the one star.

Been a member for years and love this location. Always find varieties of things and end up buying something new. Most of all, our cashier, JUSTIN K. made our check-out pleasantly. He was courteous and greeted us with a smile. Thank you for making our visit today pleasant!

This place is a real mess.Just went to Costco, so my husband and I asked by the way, why he didn't get a frame last year, but the insurance was charged for the frame. The attitude of the first receptionist was quite arrogant, saying: Yes, although there is no new frame, but using the old frame, it was still charged. I said, show me the terms and conditions, the insurance company's records show that a new frame was paid. She started pretending to ask for my information, called the insurance company, and changed her mind after a while and said: Oh, there was no frame charge, just lenses. So I showed her the reply letter from VSP, and her leader came to help, and her attitude was a little better, but she was still going around in circles. In fact, I have already asked VSP before, and the VSP has already asked them to return the extra money to refund. In the end, because I said, I had an optometry at another ophthalmologist, and they asked me: did you buy glasses there, and I said, it was because I couldn't buy them that I found out that there was a problem. She was immediately relieved: the problem was found, because you authorized them and couldn't buy it. This lie is too illogical; I say no, I didn't authorize anything there. The person in charge said: they lied to you. Then she called the insurance company, and finally told me, it is fixed, if I have an optometry sheet, I can try to buy it. I said: are you kidding?I will never come back or talk to these people. It shouldn't be so bad if they could have apologized.

Ok, Costco is cool. You can find some great deals and buy things in bulk. Their diapers are amazing too. This locations just always a madhouse! It's hard to park, there's lots of confusion trying to exit the lot, etc. coming to this spot gives me anxiety. But you can definitely get what you need and you will encounter nice staff along the way. I try to avoid this location as much as I can.
