“This is by far my favorite Dollar Tree. It’s very organized, clean, well-stocked, and the employees have always been helpful and pleasant. Special kudos go out to Chris, the assistant manager, who is consistently working about the store, opening boxes, placing items on shelves, running the cash register, and greets everyone he sees.”

“After you've been to as many different dollar trees as I've been to, one might think they all start to blend together. I got a sharp reminder that this isn't that case. When I walked in, the offal stench that confronted me was almost more than I could handle. It smelt like someone microwaving a youth hockey players pads post season. Truly unforgettable”

“I like the store its big and it has alot of stuff only thing i put a 4/5 is because i asked if they have another keyboard in the back because the one that was in my hand was out of its package. The person didnt look in the back but its ok i understand sometimes u dont have to but i cant find the on and off button on this bluetooth keyboard so i take the batttery out, I also have to discoonect the bluetooth from the keyboard. I just cant find the stupid off button on here so i have to do alot to make sure its not pairing with my phone.”

Company question, why is there only a complaint line through corporate? I had to leave my compliments for Jennifer and her team with the complaint dept. That's not going to inspire loyalty in your staff, or customers obviously. Please make it easy to leave compliments where they belong! And maybe give that girl a raise”

“I recently visited a Dollar Tree location, and I was genuinely impressed by how clean and well-organized the store was from the moment I walked in. Many people expect discount stores to be a bit cluttered or chaotic, but this Dollar Tree completely defied that stereotype. The floors were spotless, the aisles were tidy, and every shelf looked thoughtfully arranged, making it incredibly easy to find exactly what I needed without feeling overwhelmed.
What stood out most was how neatly the products were grouped by category. Seasonal items were displayed in an attractive, easy-to-browse layout, while everyday essentials like cleaning supplies, snacks, and personal care items were clearly labeled and fully stocked. It made the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, almost more like a boutique discount store than a typical dollar shop.
The checkout area was also clean and efficiently managed. Even when a small line formed, the staff moved things along quickly, all while keeping their stations organized and free of clutter. That level of attention to detail really added to the overall positive atmosphere of the store.
Overall, this Dollar Tree exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness, organization, and thoughtful layout made shopping simple, fast, and surprisingly pleasant. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“Visited 12/28/25 to look for nail glue. We asked for help by the register and the woman working was so helpful! She jumped up and helped my daughter look up and down the isle. We looked everywhere, she even went in the back to look.
Even though we could not find it; my daughter was so impressed with her kindness that she wanted to go online and leave a nice review. It was her birthday and the kindness she received was the cherry to her night. Thank you! We will be back for future needs”
“I am giving 5 stars to the manager, tall cashier dude that's always present, and the older woman that typically closes because these workers bust their humps!
To the contrary I want to say to the owner, general manager,etc
I was in this evening around 6:48 pm. The cashier ( no name tag) wearing white jogging pants and a black top should be taught to not be holding a customer's money and texting... I wanted to scream from how unprofessional it was just standing there staring at her for what seemed like FOREVER to please put her phone down and finish my transaction. As soon as I walk up she's just texting completely ignoring me and my entire interaction was awkward. I look forward in seeing the manager whenever I walk in as she is incredibly helpful and pleasant and I could've right there and then called for her however she was busy putting the price tags on throughout the entire store trusting this young lady and this cashier should be written up. Next time if it happens again I will be certain to say something. If it were my job, I'd be out of a job, period. I did not appreciate spending $43.00 to give her $45.00 and wait forever to get my change that probably was about 3 minutes total just staring at her and she gave no care because obviously it's welcomed. I have seen the manager at this location train and she is stern, hard pressed while being gentle and extremely patient so I know it is not happening in her presence. We all have things going on at home, etc but that's what a break is for!!

In my customer service career as a young cashier I had to learn the hard way by receiving a write up, having my phone confiscated by management until the end of my shift or being sent home without pay.
I do understand that this generation is pretty much... RELAXED to a certain degree but it is common sense, " the customer service is the first contact, is responsible for creating that warm and inviting impression to keep customers coming back vs to their competitors, are responsible for adhering to their employment hand book guidelines of what is acceptable and isn't and the customers wanting to come back purchasing inventory is what creates profit and raises"
Please, get it together. Give your Manager and the old lady a raise as they have been the consistent employees in that store since I moved to Wood Dale years ago. Stop hiring anyone and if you do ensure they have common knowledge of what is expected or train them properly so that these young folks understand.”
“This place has been around for 8 years and how am I just finding out about this gem?! I found the same brands I buy at Discovery for even less here. I found adorable comfy clothes and some beautiful home decor items. The fragrances arent the best but they have a wide selection to try. You may be able to find one for really cheap that you like!They have a wide selection of coats, sweats, yoga pants, shirts, dresses, shoes.I was very impressed with the variety of vases, mirrors, art, and decorative items. Don't worry about the employees since they work long hours and you just have to be grateful that they are there and this place exists. They may not be the most helpful but it's not the biggest deal.”

“For a family dollar this location had tons of variety. Women's and kids clothes, mens clothes, toys, food, gift supplies, etc. They have way more items for sale then other locations. Friendly staff.”

They had little pop up laundry bags which is convenient since I am on the road a lot and usually just throw my laundry in a Totes bag but maybe specified laundry bags will be better
They also had a little purple travel kit with tooth brush bobby pins bandaids and at least 4 antiseptic wipes among other things.”
