I also go, across the street to Advance and up the street to Auto Zone. Which one I go to depends on convenience, price and availability. I like all 3 places equally, as they are basically the same thing, in a different paper bag. ?♂️”

“SCOOTER is an awesome employee and definitively contributes to the success of O'Reilly Auto Parts. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of service I received on his watch. In fact, it was so good, I won't ever be going back to the Advance Auto Parts store right next door which is where I would normally go. I have trouble installing new batteries due to their weight so I called in advance and asked if someone could install it for me in the lot. Scooter said yes, I can do that for you! When I asked Advance if they could do this, they were wishy washy about the request like it was a pain to them, and that they might not be able to do it for me depending upon a number of factors. This is why I called O'Reilly as soon as I hung up with Advance. So I asked Scooter if I could just do a curbside install if I buy the battery online in advance. He said yes, we can do that! I said great, I'll call you when I arrive and he said okay I'll come out with the new battery as soon as you pull up. So I arrived, popped the hood, and he came out with the battery and installed it with the speed and skill of a professional pit crew! Again, I thought, man did I come to the right place! It was due to Scooter's excellent customer service, willingness, skill and expediency that I told him, you have just won over a new permanent customer for your business. He thanked me and said just let me know if you need anything else in the future. The whole process took about 10 minutes MAX which was great because I was in a big hurry. Kudos to Scooter, and I hope that management rewards him properly for his quality service, because he alone brought in a new and permanent customer to O'Reilly Auto Parts! Thanks a million again Scooter! It's people like YOU that make the difference, ESPECIALLY NOWADAYS!”
“Dropped by to have my battery check for warranty, i was lucky to meet Alexandr, a very helpful, and polite, young man, who offered to carry my heavy battery into the store, he checked the battery, said it was beyond the warranty, he said he could try and charge it, but to be safe, i should get a new Duracell battery for my BMW, which I did, Alexander, even carried it out to my car.
Great service from Alexander, which is a hallmark, of Batteries Plus. I go the when ever I need batteries, great price, and great people to deal with. One time they delivered a battery to our company, which saved us a lot of time.”
“Came into store Wed evening, 3.13.24 and nice young man ( didnt get his name, my apologies) since my older jetta died on way home from work. Even thought vehicle older, this never happened before. Gentemen was super helpful, able to read battery was at 100% and suggested faulty ground wire could be issue. Great service, very personable, need more employees like him. Thank you.”

“My wife and I were traveling from Connecticut heading north on 57 when a piece of the undercarriage in front came loose and was flapping making all kinds of noise. A bolt was missing, and parts were broken off from the front bumper underneath.
I saw the O'Reilly's from the highway and decided to see if maybe I could fix it with duct tape or something.
Tommy was at the counter, and I explained the situation and he recommended twist ties and gave me a couple of good tips.
So, Tommy. Your advice was perfect. The twist ties endured over 900 miles of highway driving since we were there Friday the 20th. We returned home Monday night without any further issues.

I did purchase another small bulb that was burnt out. The nice customer serviceman put it in for me. I would go to this shop they are very nice and helpful.”

Long story short, needed to replace my purge solenoid. The Store Manager Billy went above and beyond and replaced it for me in the parking lot. Thank you so much again!”

Josh was incredible in walking me through the process of changing the car battery and wipers. He was also very honest about what I needed without focusing on making sales. I initially went to the 4719 South Cottage Grove location and was told to find someone to install. And I also found out they sold me the wrong bulbs. Which is annoying; I was expecting them to sell the correct bulbs & to replace them. So I came to the Oak Forest Location and Roberto replaced with the correct bulbs & did it in 10min! A LIFESAVER! Truly Grateful!”
