I did three trainings sessions here for my puppy. If you’re brand new to having a dog, I say do one lesson, the other ones aren’t necessary, especially the obstacle course one. Save your money. I also tried to get my dog groomed here. The groomer
told me she was going to charge me for matting and I told her show me where. I took a comb and combed through his hair and asked where the matting was. She said the comb was supposed to go straight through. Hes a poodle with curly hair, of course the comb is not going to go through on the first pass. As if I didn’t know what matting looks like. The groomers work on commission so that’s why they will try you. I took my dog and walked out.

Nice place and nice employees but, come on Petco!!! Every time I go in, the prices are higher and higher! $27 for a average-size bag of dog treats???!!! Wtf I spend more per week here than I do on my own food. Smh highway robbery.

I don't know the name of the guy, spiked hair, wears a mask, was sitting in a dark area of the store with lights off, scrolling through a tablet or phone. I couldn't find any other employee for help with a heavy bag of food, and asked if he could assist. His response was, " I am busy, another associate can help you". I could not find another associate, so I ended up leaving and going to another pet store down the street.

Not very knowledgeable about animals they sell. Some staff members are rude.

I normally stop by every 2 weeks for my dogs food. Normally everyone is really nice however today I stop by with my puppy and a guy working there offer me his training services . I told him I was ok that I already had a trainer that had train my older dog and the worker started criticizing the collar my dog had saying I was being to extra . Honestly made me feel uncomfortable in front of other customers. Not sure I will be stopping by again .

Beware of Incompetence and False Promises
I purchased a vaccination package for my dog, trusting that the services promised would be delivered. The package included six vaccinations, but only four were administered. This was not an oversight I discovered immediately—it came to light after I had already paid and trusted this location to care for my pet’s health.
When I reached out to customer service and escalated the issue to a supervisor, I expected accountability and a fair resolution. Instead, I was met with an unacceptable response that dismissed my valid concerns. Not only did I pay for services that were never provided, but I now have to deal with the inconvenience and expense of arranging for the missing vaccinations elsewhere.
This level of negligence is inexcusable. It reflects a lack of professionalism and attention to detail that directly impacts the health and well-being of pets. Pet owners deserve better than to be shortchanged and brushed off when mistakes are made.
If you value transparency, reliability, and your pet’s health, I urge you to think twice before trusting this location with your beloved animals. Learn from my experience and avoid the frustration and confusion I’ve had to endure.

So I’m not going to put a 1 star for this place all because of one person. I come here literally all the time. Yes you guys need to do a better job with the fish area it used to be great with Cory and it’s lacking a lot of care…. But anyway I hope you get that figured out. So ya anyway.. The new girl who’s not actually from your location, she told me she is just “helping out” I guess? She was in the fish area helping me get some fish. She was young. Idk her name. I did not appreciate how she was talking to me acting like I can not take care of my fish tank saying I’m the reason of killing my fish and I have bad fish conditions. Just being rude. I have an amazing tank. I’ve had the same fish in my tank for years. I know what I’m doing little lady. My tank is crystal clear all the time. My fish are not stressed out. I check on it daily. So don’t tell me that I don’t know what I’m doing you don’t even know what my tank looks like it’s almost at a bio active state. Just so extremely rude of her to talk to me like that and make the comments of idk what I’m doing? And she just kept going on and on…. Even after I told her Ive had my tank for years I know what I’m doing. Maybe talk to someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and asking for help. Because I wasn’t asking for help. I was buying like 3 fish. Just her comments towards me were so uncalled for. I miss Cory he was the best there. I’d rather have anyone though than that other girl. She can’t keep her mouth shut. But I still like this store just not that girl I hope I don’t see her ever again

Very hard to get real help here ended up buying an item for both my dogs that didn't work only to be told they were not refundable when I tried to return them 2 days later over priced on everything better off going somewhere else

The staff is hit or miss. I usually only go if I need something for my fish. They are pricey and you have to beg staff for help. They are fairly knowledgeable when you can get them to stop and talk with you and the fish tanks are usually dirty with dead fish floating. So just keep that in mind.

My experience was average, however the people are very helpful, friendly, and courteous every time I'm there. I definitely recommend Petco for all your pets' needs.

Love our neighborhood Petco because of the team members. They all have been great. Never have I ever had any concerns of them being unfriendly or lacking knowledge of any questions, I may have. Keep up the great work guys!

They have a 24 hour cancelation policy on grooming appointment but every time I make an appointment my appointment gets cancel less than an hour prior to my appointment time the text me with the cancelation without any explanation and will not answer the phone when I called and don't call back when a message is left unprofessional inconsiderate of my time because each time I was on my way there and having to turn around was very upsetting so I will not make another appointment there just to get canceled an hour prior to my appointment
