I've been going there with my dog Poco for over eight years and have had nothing but a good experience. Be forewarned--they are rightly POPULAR now, so don't think you can get in for a grooming by trying to schedule a week in advance. I typically book the next two upcoming appointments rather than just one so that I'm absolutely sure that the near future, at least, is covered! What's more, after Poco's grooming at Bubbles and Brushes for Paws this past June, I asked them if they'd take a photo--and it's one of my favorite photos EVER of the two of us. So I include it here.

Yuppie Puppy Pet Grooming

We have a new rescue dog and she’s very skittish, but the crew had her leaning up against them and asking for pets when I picked her up. Their pricing beats competitors and my dog looked all shiny and new. I’m definitely coming back!

No need of any additional services since they waited to verify they'd be necessary based on the progress my little animal showed. The were patient with this single mom. Dr. Lazar and Dr. Rehm are so kind, thorough and wonderful, the techs are all patient and awesome - special shout out to Jess for being a goofy cat whisperer and Mariel for performing miracles on our 17 year old grumpy pup, and the customer service reps are all really helpful and lovely to talk to. If you need a vet in the Oak Park/Forest Park area, this place is a gem.

421 Avery Avenue, DyersburgTime Out Pet Care is wonderful! Cheryl took great care of our 70lb Pyredoodle without hesitation. Murphy has some anxiety issues & quirks when he is left. Cheryl handled Murphy as if he was her own. Also Cheryl sends updates & pictures during your pet’s stay. Fees are reasonable, drop off & pick up are very easy. We will definitely be using Time Out Pet Care again!

1120 Pleasant St, Oak ParkOutstanding selection of Italian foods and wines and large selection of other wines and drinks. Family friendly, gorgeous restaurant adjacent to a historic classic hotel. Makes me feel like I am back in Europe. Practice your Italian with the owner as well. :)
It was even more of a sanctuary the last couple of nights as my mother is in hospice a few miles away. So it gave our family and friends a little added rest and warmth on top of already excellent service and food.
Thank you for the last two evenings. We will all be back again soon.

Publican Quality Bread Oak Park
211 Harrison St, Oak ParkI've come here every few weeks since they opened for a loaf of sourdough - it's incredible, often still warm from the oven! They also have great baguettes in the afternoon, the coffee is high quality, and the pastries range from good to excellent. Cherry on top - the staff is kind, cheerful, and helpful.
I really like that they have a separate self checkout option for bread shoppers, it makes it easy to quickly pop in for a loaf even on a busy afternoon.
