“We love this Plaza. They have security O&P Security outside, and it makes us feel safe. Wish they had security everywhere. This company was very professional even after I parked in the fire lanes. They were so polite and professional and didn't give them a hard time I just moved my car. Lol”

Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”
“This is a great Home Depot. The staff are friendly and there are some who have been there for years and really know how to help!We recently purchased storm doors and I apologize for not remembering her name, but she helped with everything, asked great questions and provided exactly what we needed. Ken in flooring and blinds has helped us so much over the years. Recently helped me with multiple window coverings. He is accurate and clear and so kind. The staff at the service desk are always knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Love the garden center in the summertime.”

“This is probably my favorite hardware store in the country; and I have been from Virginia to Hawaii, and Florida to Wisconsin. They are helpful finding items 95% of the time.One drawback is also its strength - is that the store is so large.I wish they had more brands of hand tools beside workforce.I also wish there were some common items like studs, posts, or drywall inside the store if you only need a couple; then you don't need your car for checkout.Please upgrade the sound system for your piano players, and maybe benches (or more display toilets).Great store.”

“It's a warehouse environment with a variety of home, building and household items at discounted prices. It's loosely organized and what you see is what you get. You need to take time to see what is there. All employees we encountered were pleasant and helpful.”

“Had a positive experience with the gentleman in flooring. He was very kind and helped me load a few items as well as grab a cart for me that was across the entire store. Made my experience here a positive one, as usually at Home Depot you can't find someone to help you at all.”
“I went to buy toilets that were on sale. I walked around the whole store and saw many employees that did not acknowledge me at all. Then when I got to the right section, an employee named Matt came over and asked if he could help me. i told him i wanted to get the two toilets that are on sale and explained that i work Monday - Friday and don't get home until 3:10pm or so and asked if there was anyway they could deliver at that time or later..Matt asked me to wait a few minutes while he checked to see if it is possible. He came back and told me that was not a problem. Then i walked to the back of the store with him where David was working. He asked me if Saturday would work and i replied that is even better bc i am off on the weekends. So David took care of writing up the order and told me to pay at the register and make sure the delivery charges shows up as well on the receipt. Then they both wished me a Happy New Year!Matt and David were very helpful and I just wanted you to know they made my day! Thank you guys! i appreciate you both!!!”
