Went in to get my kids their birthday bear and it's the exact same as last year. The employee try to tell me it was different until I showed her last years. Other employee stepped in and said oh we had to much stock from last year so we just kept the same one but you can still get it for their age. Why would I pay for the same bear I already have? Everything I read said it changes every year so I am extremely disappointed as this would have been year 2 of what I hoped to make a tradition.

Very rude, unpleasant, and unfriendly staff. We went for my kids birthday and immediately when we walked in were not greeted by staff. The lady who assisted making the bear was rude as well the cashier who checked us out. None of the staff even bothered to say happy birthday. They also didn’t offer my kid a birthday hat. Would not recommend this location.

We had a great experience at the Orland Build-A-Bear and I wish I remembered the employee's name (I think Lyndsey) because she was so kind and patient with our 2 year. She walked through all the steps with him before putting the heart inside his axolotl and even though he was a little slow at going through the motions, like rubbing the heart on his knee/chest etc, she waited so patiently instead of rushing through! The only complaint I have is the GIANT bear that stands in the way of the stuffing line. We asked a girl if she was in line to stuff but her and her family were trying to record their sounds before the stuffing. When we walked the long way around the bear an employee told us we needed to come back around to wait in line for the stuffing. There was no way to get around the family recording their greetings so we had to wait a little longer even though the 2nd employee had just come back from break and was ready for the next person. That giant bear should be rolled outside the store during busy times like on a Saturday around 1pm. (Giant Bear in picture behind my cousin and his family)

I just took my son here for his second birthday to get his birthday bear. I just want everyone to know being truthful isn’t always the best. I wasn’t able to make it on his actual birthday month due to a tragic car accident, and being on life-support. We came the Following month. Not even three weeks after his birthday. & Cheryl the manager would not honor the birthday bear. I have never gone to a build a bear that was so rude. My poor son was devastated.

Very helpful, friendly, and happy staff. One employee went out of her way to see if a specific item was in the back and it was! Made my gift that much more special

Sheba at Build a Bear was amazing! She was knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. She ensured we were cared for and really went above and beyond. She gave us our space when we needed it and also was there if we had any questions. We had a great experience for the 4 girls, and we all felt special including the rest of the family. Thank you Sheba!

Staff were unfriendly and rude. It wasn't until I mentioned how rude they were being that they changed their tune. I have never been to a Build -A-Bear where staff were rude let alone so obvious and rude. The worker was a more seasoned worked. No, one should feel entitled for workers to go above and beyond of course but fill up the bear and do so without rude comments about how busy it is and complaining the whole time.

The older lady working with glasses and a low ponytail with bangs today at 1:00 in Orland Park was extremely rude and dismissive to me and my daughter today.

My girlfriend and I recently had a wonderful experience at Build-A-Bear in Orland Park Mall, and it turned into the perfect add-on anniversary gift exchange! We decided to create our own stuffed animal friends for each other, and with the amazing selection available, we found the perfect matches: a cuddly Sylveon for me (big Pokémon fan!) and a loveable longhorn cow for her.The entire experience was so much fun and surprisingly romantic. The staff at Build-A-Bear were fantastic! They were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, guiding us through the stuffing, wishing, and dressing process. We couldn't find the Sylveon cape my girlfriend had her heart set on, but the friendly manager went above and beyond, offering to grab the last one from the display window. Another staff member even helped see if a longhorn cow could fit into a Batman suit, it didn't fit perfectly, but it was so adorable and perfect. That kind of service really made our day!Beyond the personalized gifts, what truly warmed our hearts was seeing people of all ages enjoying themselves. From wide-eyed children picking out their first furry friend to adults (like us!) reconnecting with their inner child, the atmosphere at Build-A-Bear was truly heartwarming. It was a lovely reminder that the joy of creating a special companion knows no age limit. If you're looking for a unique and fun experience, whether it's for a date, a family outing, or even just a treat for yourself, I highly recommend Build-A-Bear in Orland Park Mall. You won't be disappointed!

Took the bathing shower out and a few more inter acting activity's for the kids. Prices over the top. Than like they not making enough they charge for cardboard box to take ur bear home. Two bears 150+. Limits customer base.

Nice place, I go here a few times a year for the kids. They’re always friendly and helpful.
