“Overall, I was very satisfied with the service I received at Warren Barr. The aides and nurses, CNA and also administration persons were very helpful and I enjoyed working with them all. The one negative exception was that some of the people felt that their duty to you was more important than anything else. Therefore I should stop doing what I was doing and address myself to what they want me to do. But I would highly recommend Warren Barr to all. I certainly enjoyed playing Bingo and blackjack and the entertainment that was performed was very good and entertaining.”

They could be a bit friendlier but I would go back. Coming from a retail background I understand the daily frustration sometimes. But… one should never reflect it on their customers thus the 4 stars not 5”

“At the risk of spilling the beans, this pharmacy is one of the best kept secrets in Lake County and potentially the whole Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. After visiting several Walgreens and CVS pharmacies in the area--all of which were highly dysfunctional, overworked, and incompetent--I started going to Sam's Club Gurnee. Often there is no wait, and if there is one it's miniscule. The employees are kind, they'll pick up the phone if you call, and the prices are good. Very possibly you don't have to be a member to go here. I have no idea why more people don't use this pharmacy. Somebody needs to do a case study figuring how this pharmacy has managed to stay light years ahead of other chains. Better employee pay? Not open on Sundays? Being tucked away in a corner? Lack of advertising? Requiring customers to walk a ways from the parking lot?”
“This is our main store we shop at. Is it busy on the weekend, yes, but we avoid weekends and never have an issue with lines. There is never a shortage on food or products and if you need something there is always staff to help. It's a very clean store and clean bathrooms. The customer service has always been solid and professional. The membership is worth the price even for someone who doesn't regularly shop in bulk. The Costco return policy is one of the best in the shopping industry.”

“I normally go to the Vernon Hills location, but ended up here to get my covid vaccine doses. Kosha in the pharmacy couldn't have been nicer. I shopped for a few groceries each time and felt it was a better experience than the VH store. Better product selections.”
“This is my go to store because it is so close to my home And we have limited options in our area. I like the store ... my only complaint is some of the checkers are very unfriendly and unprofessional while others are fine. I have had several checkers who are younger that don't even recognize the fact that you are even there and seem tortured. I showed a discount card to a girl and I asked if she needed to see it and she said "I see it" then at the end didn't take off the $5 she SAID SHE SAW (in a very rude manner). One other checker adult male is the opposite... so busy talking and trying to be funny the entire time which makes me very uncomfortable. I think this location needs to focus on training the staff a bit more.”

“This Walgreens got a makeover, and I'm here for it. I like the new layout with the photo center being attached to the main checkout. No more having to wait for an employee to come from the back or finish helping customers upfront before getting to you. They now have for cashier areas up front on the same side. The store is clean and tidy and looks like it is in better shape.”
“Recently I had to change pharmacies because my insurance changed and no longer considered my old pharmacy as in-network. So I did some research and found this Osco close to me with decent reviews. It is in-network on my new insurance. Other pharmacies in the area were also in-network but had questionable reviews (and I know one of those companies - a big chain store - is having problems with store closings. So this was Osco was one of my best options). It’s always hard to make a change and you never know if the reviews are accurate. I am so pleased with this pharmacy. The people on the phone at this Osco were very helpful. I didn’t have to go in to make arrangements for prescription transfers - they took my name, birthday, address and the name, phone number and address of my other pharmacy. They didn’t even need to know my new insurance info because they have the technology to find me in some kind of online system and see my new insurance. When I went to pick up my medications, all 6 prescriptions had transferred easily. On their own, Osco folks had checked for the cheapest costs, whether through my new insurance or through another like GoodRx. 4 prescriptions were covered with the cheapest prices on my new insurance but 2 were more expensive so Osco automatically applied a discount through another provider. This never happened at my old pharmacy- if it wasn’t covered by my old insurance the old pharmacy wouldn’t even tell me it was available through something like GoodRx for less. I’d either have to bring in a code or pay full price. This Osco checked for me automatically. I was also impressed with the speed and efficiency of the staff at the counter. There was a line of 3 people ahead of me, but it went quickly. And there were probably 4 or 5 staff on hand filling orders behind the counter. And the checkout person was very friendly. Overall I’m super impressed with this Osco. The only downside is there is no drive-through. But it’s worth it I think to have to go inside for this kind of exceptional service. I’m not a huge fan of the particular Jewel store in which this Osco is - it’s not bad, just not as big with as many choices as other Jewels in the area - but I do go to this Jewel fairly frequently as it is close and decent. But since I only need to go once a month or once in 3 months to pick up prescriptions, I’m happy to go inside. I didn’t have any problems with reaching someone on the phone, as other reviews had mentioned. I got the sense that these Osco workers are well-trained, and care about their customers / patients. I would highly recommend this pharmacy at this location.”

“In this post covid world of headaches and hassles getting my prescriptions has been one of my biggest problems and complaints. It’s either not covered or it’s not in stock, it takes days to get in, haven’t met my deductible, it can be cheaper on Goodrx, call your mail order service, etc etc! These issues have happened to me at every turn but the Zion Walgreens has impressed me. They are pleasant, helpful and they try to get to the bottom of the problem. I appreciate their help and service ?”
“Rating 5 stars. They have a list of products not available in traditional super markets. They have liquor and stay open late. Self checkout is normally open. Food is not partially opened and dates don't expire tomorrow.”
“I never have problems at this store. I switched to Jewel because CVS and Walgreens are an expensive mess that often have lines wrapped around the store, and the CVS even handed me someone else's pills one day.
I just got tired of the high prices, staffing issues, store closures, and unprofessionalism at the other pharmacies.
I can't for the life of me figure out how they lose money selling pills that sometimes cost thousands of dollars a bottle.
Anyway, I've always had on time accurate prescriptions at lower cost at Jewel-Osco and their staff is friendly.”
“Soooo much easier than calling Walgreens or Walmart. I just called so easy to find the Jewel Osco pharmacy near my home on Google. The Osco had pharmacy had already closed but still answered my call. I thought why call sense hours posted padt time closed. The staff pharmacy answered and told me immediate where item OTC i needed plus he told me that the Jewel evening time now open later so I could get dinner and other family evening for night I could still pick up my item all way til midnight. The staff member was so friendly and super nice. What impressed me was when I previously called in past of 2 stores I mentioned above usually make me feel to wind up so frustrated but with the Osco guy tonight gave me like a smile and calm. Thank you!”
