“Wow! I just cannot say enough good things about the staff and service at Green Bay Cycles.My father recently had major ankle surgery, so must use a “knee scooter” to be able to move around the house while keeping his surgical foot suspended. The scooter has a handbrake on the handlebars similar to brakes on a bicycle, so when we couldn’t get the brake to work I figured maybe there was a chance that a bike shop might be able to fix it.The staff immediately went to work, moving the scooter’s handbrake from the right side to the left, adjusting it for the softer pull and closer grip that my father desired, and even fixed the parking brake—all the while projecting a welcoming warmth and sincere desire to help.With the scooter now transformed into a match safer and more user-friendly device, I took out my credit card feeling happy to pay whatever price they thought fair. To my surprise, however, they refused to charge me! Instead, the owner shared his own experience healing from a similar surgery, and how much people had helped him along the way.To say I left Green Bay Cycles impressed would be a major understatement. I cannot remember the last time I experienced a business anywhere near as friendly, responsive or accommodating. GBC staff, thank you again!!”

“I came to Boulevard Bikes with ideas on fixing my own bike. They were approachable, encouraging, helpful, and supplied me with parts and advice on how to go about it. It worked out great, but I had an additional issue and took it in for a look. They diagnosed the problem on the spot, and fixed it for a great price (and even suggested a cheaper overhaul of a part I thought might need to be replaced). Heck, they even hooked me up with a dab of grease, when that was all I needed. Will definitely go back for my bike needs.”
“Chris is the best guy around for repairs, every time I need a flat fixed on the spot the wait is no longer than 10-15 minutes. Had gotten another flat on the ride home from work and thankfully I was close by and was able to walk it over, and since this wasn’t my first time he knew exactly what I needed, a fixed flat!!! I was furious the whole walk over thinking “not again”, because this is the second time within a month or so. I left feeling relieved it was fixed at a cheap price, nice and quick and on my way home in no time. Absolutely recommend the shop even to those who aren’t in the area, 10/10!!”
“Larry and his staff at Wilmette Bicycle are second to none. Larry has always been so helpful for many years. He helped outfit our youth lacrosse program w pads to protect the young goalies. More recently, he helped fix a stationary bicycle in which the motor malfunctioned. He couldn’t have been more generous w his time and expertise, and got it back up and running in less than a day. Great service and great place…. Always.”

The family business is always focused on building and maintaining good relationships with customers and anyone who just needs a little help. I came in to have my bike looked at and they provided me with excellent on the spot care. The entire staff were very friendly and honest. This is really a great place for service and accessories. “This place is a very good mom and pops place. Covid hit this place hard they don't have any bikes for sale, and the older guy said the pandemic made bike prices double what they cost. The older gentleman really knows his bikes and can probably even take a whole bike apart blindfolded. They have been in business for a long time it would suck to see them close down, but the route they are down seems like they will. They only have customers' bikes in the shop that they are working on. ABSOLUTELY NO BIKES FOR SALE AT THIS BIKE SHOP. 09-26-23”
“I had a flat mid ride and was close enough to walk to this shop. When I walked in they were welcoming and understood the situation immediately. They took my bike back immediately and replaced the tube. Before I left they checked the shifting and lubed the chain as well. Awesome staff!”
