“I have a Bluey loving 4 year old. There is an episode about chess so she became obsessed with learning. I have wanted to come to this store for a while, so the Bluey episode seemed to be perfect motivation to do so. When I walked in, I saw beautiful statement chess boards and fun and quirky boards and some simple elegant boards. We were able to find the perfect chess board for a 4 year old (yes it exists; magnets to hold it to the board and a foldable board game for storage). There is also a book for learning chess and a meetup once a week so she can practice (or I can so we can learn together!). I loved our visit here and recommend it for anyone looking for a chess board or to improve their game.”
“This place is amazing! I binge watched all 4 toy story movies with my 2yr old daughter in 2 days and the first thing we see is Buzz Lightyear as soon as we walked in. Instant purchase among other great items they have as well as pre-orders. Coolest owner as well, always a pleasure doing business.”

“This is the 3rd place I’ve been looking for and the closest thing I have found to my nostalgic 90’s comic book store I grew up with. A place where staff- get this actually interact with you. It’s refreshing- they have great stock, the name is badass, & the vibes are great.I love that the first time I was in the store and Wes Anderson’s, Fantastic Mr Fox was playing and the quote “But In The End, He's Just Another Dead Rat In A Garbage Pail Behind A Chinese Restaurant." was muttered in the background. I chuckled and contained on to enjoying every moment I was in there. Keep it up guys!”

“Today was the first time I stopped into Parkway Presents. Took me a while to see what your store is all about & I’m so glad I finally visited! Your customer service and variety of children’s products is outstanding. So great to get back to old school values where customers are appreciated and greeted with a smile. The sales associates were so knowledgeable regarding all the fun creative in stock items. Their suggestions were right on for what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back with my 7 yr old grandson who I’m sure will love choosing a special toy he’ll enjoy that doesn’t involve screen time!

“My nephew Enzo is visiting from California to spend his 14th Birthday in Chicago. We attended the Lego Convention then we went to Woodfield to search for a specific set but couldn’t find it there. The wonderful Manager at Woodfield called the Northbrook location and we were able to order the set my Nephew Enzo was looking for. We arrived at the Lego Store in Northbrook and felt very Welcomed by the staff:Mery, Elizabeth and Cameron made my nephew’s day. From the moment we stepped into the store, the wonderful staff greeted us with smiles and made us feel that we were the only customers in the world. ❤️♥️But the truth is every family and child that walked were treated in such a special way.Thank you Cameron, Mery and Elizabeth for making my nephews Birthday special”
“My husband and i sort of wandered in (i didn't think it was open since you can't tell from the street) but we got buzzed in and WOW was it worth it, an amazing collection, some of which my husband recognized from his childhood with plenty of toys and models with all sorts of themes. GREAT stock of Horror stuff and a super friendly lady at the counter. We will absolutely be back, this place is a hidden gem and well worth the trip on a rainy Satuday afternoon.”

“My mother and I just stopped in for some early Christmas browsing for my 3 kiddo's. And, truly what a wonderful children's gift shop! We bought so many great thing's that you can't really appreciate unless you see them in person. I will definitely be back, and recommend this store for anyone seeking a perfect children's gift or baby shower present. Bonus points for the free gift wrap done by the wonderful sales staff!”

“This place is so cute and great for kids! They have so many items and pretty affordable prices. It is a small store so it can get busy and crowded, though. For my girlies: they have sonny angels behind the counter near the register, so you have to ask an employee if you want one! Check their Instagram to see when they restock.”

I love that they carry the Molo brand--my kid used to love wearing Molo until she started getting pickier about what she wore. The great thing about Sugarcup is that they also have a basement full of discounted and gently used clothing, which is great when you don't feel like spending full retail pricing.”

“this is a fun nice store to go into. sometimes if I want a big bag of candy I'll go in here. I know this store probably is targeted towards teenage people and maybe young adult people. but you know sometimes I do come in here and just walk around and look at stuff. and that's cool. you know it just is nice to walk around a nice store. see what they have in here and everything is $5 or less. and I think one time I bought these little 5 lb hand weights in here and each hand weight was $5 for the 5 lb hand weight. I still have those hand weights in there pretty nice to have. and then a few other times I've bought these little LED strip lights to wrap around my tv. and I think I bought other small things like a big giant bag of bite size candy bars and I'm sure I bought other things in here. you know that huge bag of m&Ms or that big bag of gummy bears and then you eat the whole bag in 3 days. but it's just a good little store to go to when you can't think of anything else to do.”
