“I am from California and every summer I come to visit a friend. This place is ALWAYS the highlight of my trip. The owner is a great guy who’s more than happy to stand around and swap stories about nerdy stuff while offering a great choice of toys at prices that are beyond fair. 5 stars, I’ll see you next year during my visit!”

“Came here to get some smiskis and they are a certified retailer! At the time they only had 4 series, but thankfully still a couple to choose from. The staff was friendly and the store had so many different toys! And blind boxes for those interested! They even have a cool hangout and chill area!”
“Nice little spot. Staff is friendly. They have a decent amount of Gunpla, S.H. Figuarts, statues and other figures and blind box stuff.
The best part is they don't wildly over price things like you might expect to see in a spot like this. They're fair.

“This is a neighborhood gem! They have a variety of clothes, shoes, and toys/gifts for newborns to pre-teens. The staff are friendly, the items are well organized, and it is a fun shopping experience for adults and children. I have gone several times throughout the year for basics, outerwear, and formal clothes, and it never disappoints.”

“This is such a fun store!! Every single surface (excluding the walking path on the floor but including the ceiling) is covered in fun things to buy! They have rugs, cookware, art, jewelry, hats, pins, lotion, stickers, and more! It was so entertaining to take my time and walk through what used to be an old house and find so many trinkets to take home. The rugs really caught my eye! They have fair prices for the pieces they sell and unique items for everyone. I could be in there all day and still want more time to explore! It’s next to lots of food places too so you can refuel for your adventure here too. Check it out!!”

I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”

“Very happy I discovered this shop. I have never built models before. 5 months later I am on my 4th model car from this shop. This hobby shop has 100s if not thousands of model cars, tanks, planes, ships, helicopters and more. All at reasonable prices. You can get Tamaiya and other brands of acrylic paint, brushes, and other model supplies all at affordable prices. Janice is always kind and super helpful and patient. I would recommend this shop to experienced and beginner hobbyist looking to get into it. I was never a model builder but now I am an avid enthusiast thanks to Timeless Hobby Shop!”
“This is an ideal store for children’s’ toys and games. The products are organized by age, which is nice because shopping for the double-digit month range (~8-18mo) can be a challenge. A lot of options at big box stores aren’t actually safe for that age (and limited options) or thoughtfully designed for early learning and dexterity. I found a pliable silicone block set that stacks and incorporates colors and numbers and is perfect for when the little one is starting to grab everything and is potentially trying out anything and everything for teething purposes ??. I added an actual teething toy that had a fun design and shape. Both were wrapped by kind and helpful staff and both were successful adds to the playpen mix ? and should be easy to reuse for possible future babies or donated etc.”

Teresa and Pablo Are generous visionaries devoted to keeping Pilsen culturally authentic as their space consistently gives local artists, authors, creators an opportunity to expand their work. Places like Pach keep Pilsen’s heart pulse alive.
Took moment to drop in as there is no charge and you will see pics artist arts and crafts and some for purchase.
Hot tips: Take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy all the murals! Looks for the mural Loteria doors that are all around.
Make sure to stop by Cafe Jumping or Urban Treez (next door) for a latte and or meal.
Take a walk to the historical Rudy Lozano Library.
Take a drive to the National Mexican Museum and have a picnic at the park adjacent to it.”
“Well stocked toy store with complementary gift wrapping (at least around the holidays). Needed a gift for relatives' hatchling and found a trove of goodies. A pile of stuffed animals, soft as snow. Curious curiosities. Games, trains, automobiles. Plus the people were nice. Can recommend.”

“Play Chicago is one of the best toy stores I’ve ever visited. I go there for every holiday, especially Christmas, as well as for my nieces’ and nephew’s birthdays, and they never disappoint. They always have a great selection of fun, unique gifts, so it’s easy to find something special every time.
What I really love is how convenient everything is—they even offer gift wrapping in-store, making it a true one-stop shop. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.
