“Cherawn is a gifted stylist and an incredibly generous soul who gave me so much confidence that I could create a new style for myself with the clothes that I have and organize my clothes in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming and actually created excitement. I have been a person who cried every time I went to a clothing store and realize a lot of that is from Gender, dysphoria And poor body image. Now I have been able to find that place inside of me that can love myself in my clothes and accept my body and Cherawn is a big part of that process. I loved our sessions together she’s so easy to talk to, do very kind and has a great sense of humor along with being so talented!!”
“Right when we walked in the front door we were greeted with a smile and we began what would become the absolute best retail experience I’ve ever witnessed. The employees made finding my dream boots seem like their dream too and added to the fun of everything by hearing me out and giving me suggestions when they needed to. You could tell the owner and all of the employees there are really passionate about what they do because it was all smiles and happy vibes the entire time. My wife and I ended up leaving with top quality boots, socks, jeans and a few stickers. It was just such a fun store. We could have looked through things for hours!!!!!You’re just simply not going to find a selection like this or people this amazing anywhere else. Hands down the only place I’ll ever shop for my everyday clothing from here on out.I finally have my dream cayman boots!”
“This is one of the best boutiques I’ve ever been in. The brands, quality, selection, decor, attention to detail is perfect. I could have spent hours in there! The sales associate (I wish I would have got her name) was so nice, helpful and patient with me. She made the shopping experience wonderful and I am so appreciative of that.”

“I love this store so much and I love all of the old emo stuff but what I will complain about is that I cut my fingers on the of the spikes on the inside of the belt that was sticking up, definitely look into a safer way for that not to happen, but other than that I love it!!!”

“Other than the usual treatment by certain types of shoppers, it's a decent store. It's mostly clean. I just wish people had more respect for stores and would stop throwing clothing and pretty much everything else on the floor.”

“Looked really nice, but I couldn't spend any money here. They are closed. Possibly until December they said. I'm from NY, and really wanted to get cat merchandise. I do not seee how closing up places like this helps anything. It has to be hurting Peoria. Each county is going to have to say, enough is enough. We are going back to normal to save our kids and grandkids from having to deal with t our mistakes.”

“This was my first time going into a White House Black market, we were greeted by a worker right when we walked in the door, I didn't catch her name but she was pretty and offered to help in any way. I have to say that it was very nicely organized, color-coded and pretty fancy too. I went in looking for a specific type of dress which I did not find, but it was so nice to look around and see the different type of clothing that they had. There were lots of different types of dresses, some very cute, just not the color that I was looking for. In the future, should I need something that's a little more dressy, I will come back and visit this store!”
“This store is in a strip mall next to a few stores and restaurants in the nice side of Peoria. The store itself, It is a decent size. They had a lot of sales and I love when they do the 60% off the clearance! This is a great place to get plus size clothes. The lane Bryant bras are also unmatched!! The pajamas are also so soft and comfortable. The dress clothes are the best quality.
The workers today definitely were only focused on their own conversations. I actually didn’t care they didn’t tell me the sales of the day, but I did find it odd how loud they were talking to each other. I looked over and one of them was just leaning in the sales counter. It just felt a bit unprofessional and awkward.”

“I stopped in Khols today and found two cozy warm sweaters for my 98yr old mom. I also saw a big selection of pots and pans. I will be dragging my husband back there to help on deciding which set is best for us. Lots of employees working. Check- out line was super quick. The store is filled with lots of new merchandise. “I go to this Burlington basically every day as I work at a neighboring business. The employees for the most part are all really nice! However, there is this one gentlemen’s who is Asian and he’s usually up on the register when I see him and he is always so rude. I work in customer service so I’m always really friendly and he never says hello or anything to me and acts like he’s so annoyed whenever he’s ringing me up. I know retail sucks because I also work in retail, I just don’t take it out on everyone, especially the nice people.”

“This is my first time visiting J.Jill, I went in looking for a specific type of dress, but I didn't see many dresses while I was there. However, while I was there, I observed that the store was tidy and nicely organized, and they were actually a little bit busy. I didn't stay very long just because I didn't find anything in regards to what I was looking for but it was a nice story and everybody seemed happy shopping there.”

“Great variety of classy clothes, helpful staff ----- ----- July, 2022 Visit Our daughter discovered the band Greta Van Fleet early summer, 2022, and quickly found that they would be playing in Peoria, IL, and she recommended a road trip. We had a great time, thanks in part to A Perfect Pear, in Peoria Heights. We visited a nearby jeweler and then decided to walk around the neighborhood's many stores and restaurants. It's apparent that many/most of the Peoria Heights stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays, surely because they are open on Sundays. Normally A Perfect Pear is also closed, but they are available to be open by appointment, and a prior guest with an appointment departed just as we walked past. We knocked and the lady (apologies for being forgetful with your name... sorry) working let us in to look around. Our daughter explored jeans and shorts, but focused on shirts and picked a very nice one. Thank you, A Perfect Pear. ----- ----- -----”
