Great service! Harley came out to service our refrigerator. He was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He explained what repairs that had to be made. We will definitely be calling Bensons if needed.

Great service. Technician showed up in the time frame that was decided upon. My dryer was repaired promptly and technician was friendly. I would definitely recommend and will be using their services again if needed!

They had the fuse I needed, but was on a service van making rounds. The van made a special trip back to the building so that I could purchase it. They also had to order a couple of parts for me and they came in two days later. Not many if any would go out of their way to satisfy a customer as they did. Highly recommend them.

I just got home from Benson's Appliance Store in Peoria Illinois. I had a question, there was only one person working and he said that he didn't anything about any of the appliances,he just works there. If I want to know something, I would have to make a service appointment. What kind of owner hires someone for an Appliance Store and don't teach them anything about the appliances or how to look anything up on the computer? I got a text back from Scott Benson, he said me a text that he was sending to someone else. Benson has gone down hill since his dad gave him the business. I don't recommend anyone looking to buy appliances to go there. If you want to ask them a question, they will just tell you to make a severe appointment. You have to pay to ask a question. Scott Benson is running those stores into the ground. I don't look for Benson's Appliance to be around much longer.

When I tell you there was no work needed on my washer and dryer jus 2 tripped outlets and I was charged $90!!!! He didn't TOUCH either of my appliances. Just pushed a reset button on my outlet. I expected a service charge maybe $25-50. I feel ripped off. My 1st and last time using BENSONS.

I would give 0 stars if I can. I Submitted a home warranty claim and used Bensons to repair our oven. Paid the claim, bensons came out, deemed our control board was bad. Ordered our part yet never notified us when it arrived. We contact Bensons for an update to find out they lost our control board. That they would have to call our home warranty company again. Weeks go by with no update and a broken oven. Call again, they claim they can’t get a hold of our home warranty. Fed up, I pull the control board apart to investigate. I find a 1/2 long plastic spacer between the micro switch and outer cover fell out and would not depress the micro switch to turn on the oven. I assembled it and works like a charm. Poor diagnosis as it only cost me my time and I’m out $200 in warranty claims for all of this. I will NEVER recommend Bensons to anyone.

After waiting almost 2 years for Sherman's to get my dishwasher, I was so surprised to walk into Benson's and learn they had two in stock. I bought it and paid several hundred dollars less.

The guy from the commercial that says "pleasing you, pleases us" must have been having a bad day.bCame in here with new washer banging it around like he was in a rush to get back to the shop to make his next commercial. Left hoses all tangled and half installed. If you're going to buy an appliance from here, just get it delivered and save yourself the door dings and feeling like it's a hassle to drop off and install your already purchased appliance. I'll shop elsewhere.

Could not be happier with my experience at Benson‘s. I am a very picky person who asked a lot of questions. I took a lot of time with my decision, and everyone was happy for me to do so. I couldn’t recommend Benson‘s any higher. Everyone was great! They let me take my time, and answered all my questions. The price was great, the service from the moment I walked in , Until the appliances were delivered, was five star all the way.

I called on a Monday morning and inquired about the repair of my gas oven. The igniter had blown out. I was quoted a $50 service charge. The work was scheduled for Wednesday however the repair man came on Tuesday, which I thought was great! Near almost completion of the job which took all of 15 minutes,, I was charged $252.90. I was dumbfounded. He explained, $60 for the trip, $89 for the service charge and $95 for the part. I explained that I was quoted $50 over the phone for the service charge. He simply shook his head and said that the person was new and had only been on the job for two months. Although I’m happy to have my oven repaired, this was terrible business practice and I would never recommend this company to anyone else.

Fridge was installed today after a few weeks of interruptions due to the pandemic. Fridge was just unpacked and out on the floor when purchased. Few weeks later the fridge is installed! On a Saturday, even.

Would give 0 stars at this point if possible. Purchased a washer from this store 10 months ago. Appliance stopped working recently, but is under warranty. Tech came out and said they "may replace it or may fix it" and they'd let us know in a day or 2. Fast forward 2 weeks, we've had to call 2 days in a row to get an update from Gary at the store, who has acted inconvenienced to say the least when we've asked for time frames for parts/repair. This individual was rude, sarcastic and demeaning to my wife over the phone. Will never do business with this store again. Unreal.

I am still waiting for parts to be delivered to get my dishwasher fixed. The service man who came to check out my dishwasher was very kind and told me 2 weeks for the parts. It has now been 7 weeks and I've called many times. Every time I call the man answering the phone is rude and makes up excuses. I was told parts were scheduled to come in last Friday and asked for a courtesy call... I have heard nothing. I'm scared to call back because last time the worker screamed and yelled at me. I think it's by far the worst company I've ever worked with and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unless you like be yelled at and lied to!!!

We purchased a Cafe Cooktop and Refrig. The sales staff was efficient and attentive. Price was great and they offered free delivery and pick up of old appliances. Their delivery staff were on time, considerate and gave us instructions on. The use of appliances. We are very happy with our experience and will purchase from them again
