Grand View Drive in Peoria is a beautiful and scenic spot overlooking the Illinois River valley. It offers a great drive and an excellent place for walking, jogging, or a peaceful stroll. The two-mile route provides spectacular and splendid views of the river, the valley, and a lake, with many convenient parking spots and viewpoints with proper seating arrangements. The impressive old homes and architecture along some stretches are spectacular and splendid to look at. It is a perfect and pleasant place to relax, enjoy nature, have a picnic, or take a quick break. The drive is amazing and totally worth it.
Cool drive on top of the bluffs. We went north on top and came back on the bottom. Twisty and sharp uphill, I would skip it in bad conditions. Park on top. Many pull offs.
