Quit out of the way good place to picnic kind of hidden to the side . not a ton of traffic no additions besides picnic table and BBQ stands .

A nice spot to enjoy an ancient tree that is over 500 years old. You can't access the tree directly as it's surrounded by a fence to protect it. There is a picnic table and plenty of grass to walk around it and enjoy thinking about the amount of time it's been there.

An ancient Burr oak tree that’s well over 500 years old.. it was alive when Marquette and Joliet canoed up the Illinois River ..
