“We’ve never been happier with a stay at a hotel!
Perfect spot for an extended stay as the beds are incredibly comfortable and there’s a full sized fridge and stovetop. The laundry room is clean, conveniently located and there’s also a fitness center. There’s a nice little convenience store right by the front desk with awesome options.
But really what made us love it here was the staff. Brittany is just the sweetest, and the whole crew of ladies have been incredible and friendly. You don’t always meet such awesome people during your travels, all of the ladies are 10/10 in hospitality.
My partner and I kept saying “dang I love them!” After our interactions.
Will definitely look for another Candlewood during our travels.”

“A very pleasant and great experience.
Extremely good location with walking distance to excellent stores and restaurants. Ample parking and Buffet which had a nice selection of breakfast options but didn’t have labels for vegetarian foods. WiFi was slow and got disconnected many times during use. Overall great experience. Strongly recommended

“Google morning same old breakfast everyday. I really need to change it up. But it is breakfast and free luckily I'm on the first floor cuz at the moment the elevator is broken other than that the staff has been amazing”

“It was a very clean and pleasant place to stay. Since our room was not quite ready they gave us a free upgrade without hesitation or backwards glance. It was awesome! Although there was no housekeeping service we were given everything we needed and the Wi-Fi was great. The price was right too and if we decide to come back and visit the city this is the the hotel we will stay at. I highly recommend. ? (Frank Scruggs and Alfreda Dawson)”

“Breakfast needs some work, most of the hot items were out, you had to go out to the lobby for hot water for your oatmeal. Just needs some polishing, but the food was good.

Rooms: Room was clean and worked well, kitchenette was recently remodeled, but you could tell this place was older, soft floors and the remodels were on a budget.”

“Zach was so friendly at the front desk. He made us feel very welcomed! Our girl Stella that we met by the happy hour and breakfast was just so special to meet her. She was so nice to us also. Our room was perfect and very comfortable sleeping.”

“It was a fine place to rest. Clean and in a good location.
The floor above was very creaky sounding - not much sleep that night. And it's apparently dog-friendly...
even when the dog is not friendly to other dogs...”

“Buyer Beware: they oversell rooms. I had booked a King room earlier in the evening and was told that none were available on arrival and so had to settle for a smaller room. Also had to change rooms when the really old smoke detector started acting up, but the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were otherwise great and reasonably clean, but the common areas desperately needed vacuuming and carpet cleaning. You wouldn’t want to walk around barefoot. Great location, and a charming hotel despite showing its age.”

“It's a simple low key local hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. If you need anything just ask . Close to downtown and plenty of food places and local fun.

Rooms: Rooms are spacious- love the mirrors!

Nearby activities: Downtown area is not even a mile away with lots of local eats and drinks!! Riverfront area for great views and local museums for the kiddos!

Safety: I always feel safe, if there's ever a problem the local police are on top of it!

Walkability: Definitely walkable!

Noteworthy details: Simple local hotel”
