(Backed up by a specialist I went to after my randall road visit, they correctly diagnosed my cats lung issue) the staff here are kind and really take their time with you. “I have been taking my Bernedoodle puppy to Cleveland Vet Clinic for a just under a year now (July 2025 - Feb 2026 and beyond), and please believe me when I tell you that they have taken such compassionate, wonderful care of him since he came into my life at 3 months old. He’s now 10 1/2 months and I couldn’t be more pleased with their care.

Their hours are convenient for all working people since they are open til 8pm on weekdays and 2pm on Saturdays, and, when they say they will call you back with info or an answer to your question, THEY WILL ACTUALLY CALL YOU BACK! The same night!

All the staff, techs, and doctors are fantastic at what they do; they are friendly and welcoming (thankfully ??) to new pet parents like myself, and graciously guided me every step of the way, which helped me make sure I was doing everything for my puppy on time and to the best of my ability so I could keep him happy and healthy!

Obviously I tried to learn as much as I could on my own before getting my baby ??, but there really is no substitute for the opportunity to ask questions and draw on the knowledge/experience of the medical professionals at Cleveland Vet Clinic.

My puppy Luca will be a patient here for years to come!!

“Cannot say enough positive about the staff and doctors at Kendall Road. My horse had bone chips removed here two years ago with stellar care, and he was back over a holiday weekend recently due to a colic episode that did not resolve with treatment provided by my home veterinarian. KREH staff were thorough, extremely caring, and kept me informed throughout the entire experience. My horse is home and recovering well and I am forever grateful to Kendall Road and their fabulous staff. I will never go anywhere else for equine emergencies or surgical needs! Affordable, kind, thorough, experienced, professional. The best of the best!”

“December 18, 2022. My birthday. Most veterinarians are still operating under Covid and pandemic regulations. And we’re not open on weekends. I rescue that my partner and I saved together was in the last part of her life. Suffering and suddenly becoming paralyzed and in a ton of pain I frantically called trying to find a veterinarian that would service my cat nobody was open. I called virtual veterinarian about 31 minutes after they closed to my surprise they picked up in a panic I quickly explained what was going on with my cat but it was my birthday and I did not know what to do and could not find anybody to help me. He had us bring her in immediately, despite having somewhere important to go he waited for us to come from Sycamore to Virgil to treat our cat. We gave her sedatives and painkillers and she had a peaceful 24 hours before we got her back the next day and he put her down with respect and dignity. It was very clear that day that they had something else going on that was very important but they took the time to care and the empathy to make my little baby peach feel better. That allowed us to have 24 hours more with our kitty. Free from pain and, One terrible birthday a little easier to bear. This vet is an older gentleman and he might struggle to keep things up to a standard that privileged people in the area might expect however he is a vet in the middle of nowhere quite literally in the country and he he rescues quite a few different animals and cares for them. He deeply cares for his career and what he does and that’s clear and how he treats his animals it might be a little bit rough around the edges. But the Care inside is worth going for.”

“We took our dog Coke (brother named Pepsi) to Springhill Veterinary Clinic last week. We adopted Coke from an Aussie Rescue Organization about 7 years ago when he was 2 or 3. He had been very abused before he was rescued, so he was very anxious and frightened of many things and situations. He has improved a lot, but is still very scared in several situations, on being riding in the car, and another being entering strange places. He was very anxious when we brought him in, but the people at Springhill were so king and calming. We brought Coke in because he'd been acting pretty sluggish and not at all himself. We had Dr Rettinick (? sorry) and she was wonderful with Coke and with us. She was very thorough and did some tests for Senior dogs. The next day, she called and told us Coke's tests were good, but he was just a little dehydrated. She said we'd keep an eye on that. This place is really good. I know we will take Coke to Springhill Veterinary Clinic for years to come!”

“Animal Care Clinic is always great with my 2 dogs. I’ve seen several of their doctors and never been disappointed in the quality of care. This time I saw Dr. Paul who helped reassure me that my aging dog is not in pain and that we are doing all we can to help him age with comfort and dignity. We had a compassionate discussion about quality of life and I felt a huge relief knowing my pup is still enjoying his life comfortably. We also talked about how to tell when quality of life is deteriorating and, while not a fun topic, Dr. Paul was both kind and realistic.
Pet care can be expensive but I trust ACC to help me determine what’s healthiest for my pets and that is 100% worth it. Thanks to the entire staff from check in to techs to doctors and everyone behind the scenes!”

“Very caring vet who I squeezed me in when my senior cat was not well and my regular vet was not available. She was thorough with a good bedside manner, and prices were quite reasonable (less than other vets I’ve been to with my cats and fosters). Clean office. I would recommend.”

“To say the least it was a bad day today. The staff and Dr. Hillary were fantastic! First they gave me a last minute appointment for what I thought was going to be an orthopedic pain situation. Then within 10 minutes of scheduling, they called me back to say the Dr. thought I should come in sooner. They squeezed me in between appointments and took me as soon as I got there. After the exam the Dr. sent me to the ER for an ultra sound. She said to call with any questions I may have while I am there. Not only did she answer my questions immediately, she was sympathetic and gave me her personal opinion about the prognosis. Needless to say, I had to make the decision to euthanize my dog due to the medical issue that arose that day. After multiple calls to HVH, driving the staff crazy going back and forth with making a decision to do it that day or wait a couple days hoping to have a few more hours with my loved dog, I ended up taking him in at the end of the day to euthanize him and Dr. Hillary, again, squeezed me in on her very busy day! I couldn't have asked for a more comforting crew to ease my pain! I would rate them 100 stars if I could !
Sorry to all those that may have had to wait a few extra minutes so my dog got such great care! I already foster, and promise to continue to pay it forward.”

“Red Barn and Dr. Kwan saved my dog's life! He was scheduled for a double knee surgery with Dr. Kwan at Red Barn last October. He was healthy as a horse leading up to the surgery other than his bum knees. On the day of surgery, I dropped him off as scheduled. A few hours later, Red Barn called and said he needed to be seen by an emergency cardiologist right away. I took him to Thrive in Hoffman Estates, who was also instrumental in saving Marley's life. We had no idea he had a congenital heart disorder. I am so thankful for Red Barn and Dr. Kwan's expertise and how they took swift action and referred me to the right specialists. Marley was cleared for surgery and a month later had a successful
double TPLO surgery by Dr. Kwan. Dr. Stone has been amazing from start to finish at Red Barn. She is gentle, kind, and truly loves animals. If you need great care, you'll find it here!”

“The shelter vets provide low cost vaccine clinics throughout the area. My dogs have been vaccinated by them for many years. They provide a wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service. Check online for their schedule. We go to our local Siers Feed & Pet Supplies in town. Couldn't be mire convenient!”

They made time to see him and provided him with superior care. Not only are they all compassionate, they took the time to explain the test results and what those results mean for Max's future care.
