I had a really bad day and experience here where a family member was in the hospital in critical condition and the ATM ate $240.00 of my money! The ATM stole it, just like that and thank goodness I printed out a summary!!! Otherwise? They just would have taken it all, no words about it. Isn’t that nice? It took months to get my money back and they didn’t even give the amount they took away, back. I was pretty much completely destitute and could not even pay my bills. Nicci is always so wonderful at this location! I am a coin and currency connoisseur. I go roll-hunting and she is always the first to help me find what I need. She is an amazing attribute to the company and honestly? The only reason I stayed with BMO Harris Bank! She helped me with the money the ATM ate. At this same time? I was in a hurry to get to a family member who was on the brink of death. I wanted my money back immediately, and who wouldn’t? I needed it and it is mine. Nicci calmed me down and helped me figure out a solution. If she would have given me the money out of her pocket? She would have. Nicci helped me realize that BMO has a process that they have to go through in order to return my money. I was not in the mood to hear it, but she was so kind and professional..it wasn’t her fault. I truly hate BMO HARRIS BANK. They stole from me and left me out to dry for months and then did not even give me the correct amount back after the investigation. Honestly? Nicci is the only reason that I am still with BMO because she always helps me with my coin needs and is always ready to help count the mass amount I bring in or take out. Nicci deserves a promotion! So? This 5 star review is NOT FOR BMO HARRIS BANK!!!!?? NO!!!!! IT IS FOR NICCI.

Tried calling for over a half hour. Can't reach a real person, just rings several times, no one answers and then it bumps you back to the digital menu to chose all over again. Try picking up the phone. Not everyone wants to do everything online.

Other than the location not being the best. I have had good experiences dealing with Harris (BMO)Plainfield years. People are friendly and very competent. They go out of their way which other banks don’t always do.

Never had a problem in all the years I've banked there, I had a payroll check bounced by the bank, called customer service and they were of no help, in fact I asked to speak to a manager and was disconnected, nobody in customer service was willing to help, I will be taking my business to another bank, a bank who cares dont know why the payroll check bounced, I've been with the company 6 years never had a problem, no other employee had a problemMakes me think it's the banks error, but no one will help

I never understood the reviews before as I would go in and the people were fairly nice and accommodating. Now I do. I have been trying to get a simple question about ATM fees answered for over 6 weeks at this location - I was there in person, but banker Eric was busy - he was to get back to me. Never did. Emailed him nothing. Called and left VM on his desk phone. No response. Called again and got a woman who was to have him call me back and let his manager know as this has been lingering and still nothing. I will probably drive further now to avoid this branch as even if you are hypothetically short staffed due to all the hiring signs around town (looks like same staff as always), it does not take 6 weeks to send a quick email or leave a VM on a cell phone. Just plain sloppy and embarrassing for Harris. They need to get their act together.

I was doing business for a senior citizen and the manager lady at this racist branch was rude and talked down to me, but was overly helpful to help white people. I asked to speak to a manager at the drive up window and she stated she was the manger. I was amazed my family have been banking when this place was called First National Bank. This racist unprofessional woman showed she doesn't like blacks by her nasty attitude and balled up the paper work back to me. This was very disgusting behavior of a nasty white woman treating a black person like trash. I wouldn't bank at this racist location.

Worst Bank experience ever! Not enough staff. Rude staff. Need to call them 10 times to reach someone- not responsive. Made a wire transfer at the branch at 2pm and called the branch since 3pm to 4:30pm to make sure they process it on time, but guess what??? The manager was not available. The branch wasn’t answering the phones. In an end, at 4:29pm I was told that the manager finally approved the WIRE 4:21pm, and should be all good. But it wasn’t. The WIRE was not scheduled before the cutoff time- 4:30pm, so it did not process. Why? Because the bank may not have enough funds!

They burn your business. We are about to close our bank account with BMO because of this branch. We have over 100 employees and we can’t deposit more than $5000 only in this branch. Don’t open any business account in this area with BMO.

This branch has the "tube" canister system in their drive up. I cut my thumb opening one recently. HOW MANY GERMS DO YOU GUESS IS ON ONE OF THOSE? The employees were rolling their eyes etc... Anyway... long story short, they denied any responsibility. We closed our numerous accounts.
