Wasn’t able to use a debit card, only credit card. Kinda bummed. Plus only available cars were Teslas. Enterprise just down the street has many more options and takes debit card same day! I’d go there.

If you are wanting to get a one way car from here, don't bother.After trying unsuccessfully to get a one way car from enterprise, I tried to get one through Hertz. They don't have a phone number to call for you to book a car or check availability, so you have to do it online.I went to their website and entered in the one way trip I wanted to take. The website said they had cars available. The delivery location was closed on sundays, so I would have to do a 2 day rental with a total cost of about $560 with all the insurance options for their least expensive car. An insane price, but I needed to get a one way rental.I selected one, booked it, and then thirty minutes later, they called me and said they had no cars available for one way. If they had no one way cars available, the website should have said there were no one way cars available. ESPECIALLY if the only way to book one or check availability is online.Fortunately, Avis was able to help me. When they say they have cars available, they actually mean it. I highly recommend you go to them instead of hertz. And they are open on sundays. And my rental cost was $217 for a one day one way WITH all their insurance. Even if I had to do a 2 day trip with avis, it would have STILL been $100 less than what Hertz wanted to charge me.

My insurance sent me here; i took off work because they said they had a car for me atva certain time, clearly they lied and when i was calling they kept saying different things as in give them another two hours and someone was bringing a car. Called the next day and kept saying the same thing. I ended up just canceling the reservation. Never heard of a rental with no cars available. Why not just say that instead of having me wait 2 days.

Booked a rental for few days when i picked up the rental was not clean, had no washer fluid but had a full tank of gas. i just think that rentals need to be cleaned for the following guest having boggers on the steering wheel was gross so we ended up cleaning the rental before using it which wasted valuable time for us

Worse experience very rude behavior, needs training for customer service. Waited over one hour and did not get what I want. Will not recommend. Go somewhere else and save time and feeling of insult you will experience.

Nightmare of a location! Do Not Rent! We made our reservation 1 week+ in advance. We needed a bigger car as we were moving our son to College, with an appointed move in time to his dorm. We had a 9am pick up time for the car and was called about 8:30am THAT MORNING OF MOVE IN, that they did not have a car for us!! WHAT?! The lady said to call back with questions! Umm yeah, we have questions and thanks so much for giving us this unbelievable stress!! My husband immediately called back numerous times and no answer! So he went to the location. In the parking lot he saw the car type we had reserved. When 9am came and they opened, my husband was again told they had nothing, the car wasn't dropped off. My husband mentioned the car he saw in the parking lot and the lady said, she didnt have the keys and it was for someone else! How do you not have the key but it's in your parking lot?My husband of course stated our reason for needing our RESERVED CAR and she stated it was POLICY, that they can CANCEL at a moments notice!! Disgusting service/company! Quickly the lady changed her tune and said, wait a minute that car is reserved for you! And she magically had the key! I have absolutely no idea what kind of business they are running here or what they are trying to get away with but the BBB will be hearing about them. How they can shatter a very important, exciting, emotional day by playing games with their company and people's lives is gross negligence! They have been awful for a while, but this is the last straw. Bye Hertz!

Sneaky business over charging and not making it right or calling back. Rented a car bought the extra insurance. Go back within 10 minutes because of a screw in the tire they say they are giving me a better car because that’s all that’s available and I was charged triple the price. Called and they said that was for the insurance. I said no one told me the insurance price would triple. They said they will call back and haven’t heard a word.

We give this specific agency 0 stars(Plainfield,Illinois). We made and paid for a car rental 1 month ago. The reservation was for a Tesla and the duration of the rental was for 1 week. We were to pick up the car today, June29th at 6:00pm. We received a phone call from the agency's manager at 7:54 this morning informing us that they could not provide us with the Tesla because they had "overbooked" the car. They would gladly provide us with a different car. We specifically reserved and paid for an electric car to save money 4th of July weekend as we were scheduled to go out of town. How is a gas powered auto going to save us money? We were also informed that this agency only has ONE Tesla to rent out. How can you call a customer the day of pick up that you do not have the car they paid for? Hertz was quick to offer a different gas powered car and kept telling us they understood and that there was nothing they could do. Well they ruined our week's plans!

After reading some bad reviews, I still gave this company the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I should've went with my gut.I called them early morning confirming vehicle will be ready by noon. She kind of giggled & said it should be. Called 1/2 prior & she said I was just about to call you. Unfortunately the vehicle you wanted is not available anymore as the other renters extended their rental. She offered the size down, but after looking at it, we knew it w/b too small for our trip. She said we usually have mostly SUV's & normally enough on hand, it's just been extra busy. So needless to say, trying to find another vehicle within a couple hours of needing one was impossible. Ended up taking our own vehicle.Also, the place was dirty. Not a good impression as you walk through the door.I highly recommend seeking a vehicle elsewhere.

Don't reserve a car from this place. They don't have cars available and won't tell you till that morning when you are actually on your way there to pick up the car. Ruined our day. The lady was rude and obviously hates her job . Horrible customer service .
