“had a great experience today at the Sherwin-Williams in Plainfield. The young lady at the front desk was calm, patient, and really took the time to understand what I needed. She made sure my paint was mixed quickly and let me know it would be ready when I returned later due to other priorities I had.
When I came back, everything was ready to go. She checked me in, checked me out, and handled everything professionally. I wished them a Happy Holidays and left very impressed.
Even though it was “just paint,” the customer service went a long way. Thank you for making the whole process smooth and easy!”

We’re planning a full interior paint refresh and had the pleasure of working with Holly from JC Licht. She visited our home, immediately understood our needs and design goals, and presented us with several refined and cohesive color options. With her 25 years of expertise, Holly professionally guided us in choosing the perfect palette.
She left us with 8×9″ color swatches and sent us additional copies of each color within a few days—such thoughtful service! Her deep knowledge and attentive approach made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Great service all around.”
“The sales girl at this store was amazing. I brought in a 3 year old ripped label looking for a paint to do touch ups. She helped track down the original store it was purchased from, called them to find the colors and recipes and googled images to help make sure we had the right image. So friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!”
“I went in with my toddler for paint samples and we were met with the friendliest team. We only got 2/3 of their names, Abby and Chris. My 3 year old was asking me for water and they brought him a water bottle - Abby even surprised him with a mini paint bucket and little tool. They had good recommendations after listening to my project details and they were very knowledgeable. This is not the closest SW location to my house, but we’ll return anyway for the customer service.”

“Great people got me unloaded fast. Have to back in off the street into their dock.
There is no room if you pull in to turn around unless you want to blind side back, NOPE!”
“Cons: I ordered a paint mix over the phone. The woman working at the time wouldn't give the paint because my phone number wasn't in the system. I asked if anyone else ordered that same paint mix today and she said no. So not sure what the issue was, extremely unnecessary.
On the other hand. Major pro: Nick. I called and asked for advice on how to get a paint thats only sold for new construction homes and also only sold by a mass gallon amount. He immediately knew the color, he also immediately knew the mix necessary to create a replica. When I finally did pass security clearance from the lady and got the paint, it was a perfect match. That type of customer service and skill is amazing! Thanks to Nick and will be visiting again for purchasing new paint for my new home as I think his advice will be invaluable!”
