“I love being able to drop my unwanted items here and drive away knowing someone else will get better use out of it. Better than the stuff being in the landfills.”

“When I need a tool I check here first
Just stay away from battery tools
Cheaper to buy new tool then new old stock battery.
Also use for camping gear ... ✔️”

“Such a lovely shop with so many varieties of items. The ladies that work there are so friendly and kind. That in itself was an absolute pleasure. I’m excited to return.”

“If you want a real thrift store that doesn't price gouge you with eBay listing prices, go here. It's one of the few places left on earth that sells made to last things for good prices. I saw a 60 year old leather lunch bag that probably has 100 years left in it for under $15. Can't beat it! Saleswoman was so sweet, great vibes here.

I saw nice brands here, they have a little one person dressing room. Don't let the size fool you - I got lost in here looking around for an hour.”

“I was in another place and my daughter had an accident but of course it was the one time I didn’t bring clothes with and boy was I glad this store was next door. I was able to walk right in and to the section I needed. Line was a bit long but backup was called immediately”

“After visiting my doctor, I asked the receptionist if there were any good resale places in the area, and she happily replied, " Yes, I've found some really nice things at New Uses, by Aldi". I googled it. It was close. I wasn't disappointed! First, there was plenty of free parking. It was handicapped accessible entry. The place was extremely neat and well organized. I found a great plant stand on wheels practically new, a nice African wall mask, and a unique letter M, which is my last initial. I plan to stop in after every doctors visit!”

“Worked here briefly (7 months)! Not anymore though. Associates, supervisors, and managers were always super friendly, both in the context of being a worker and shopper. A large selection of items as well, although very tight aisles here and there. Good prices too with a lot of options available.”

“My little one came in & took off running. If your a mom you know how stressful that can be. I can say even though that happened, our shopping experience was still delightful. The staff were very accommodating & polite. Let me add that the clothing/shoes are for a more maturer customer. All in all, I recommend them if in need of pieces immediately and for their furniture/appliances.”

“This was a quick drop for a friend but last week, at the Geneva location, I purchased a multi colored, white background jean jacket that's perfect for summer. Y'all don't sleep on Salvation Army (SA). I highly encourage all to donate to SA first, rather than the other place. Thank you.”

“Was at this location today, bought some shoes for my baby and just want to say thanks for cassier Cris, he was very nice and helpful. Another day, a cassier was another guy, older, with his headphones on, he wasn't friendly at all. Just thank you Cris, you made my day, you are very good as a salesperson.”

“I’ve frequented the Crest Hill store on many occasions, to both sell and shop. I was actually very impressed with the quality of items and how well the store is organized and arranged. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful, offering any assistance and helping me load and unload my car when needed. I understand how the buying process works and have always been satisfied with the $$ received on my items. It’s easy and quick cash so it beats just giving it away or going through the agony of a garage sale. I appreciate that they truly take the time and effort to diligently look up every item to make sure they are offering you a fair price while keeping the item at a cost where they can still turn around and sell it at a large discount back to the public. The owners Dave & Tina take great pride in their stores and it shows with their commitment to providing the best customer service and quality of items. I will definitely continue shopping and selling to New Uses!”

“I go to the two dollar sale. It is awesome. You just gotta be careful and look at everything you buy make sure there’s no stains or holes or anything else because it is a used clothes store so but besides that they are awesome. I would shop there anytime.”
