About Tomahawk Campground
Tomahawk Campground offers a peaceful and friendly getaway nestled on 39 acres of lush, partially wooded lots. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility away from city noise, surrounded by wildlife such as birds, bunnies, and deer. The campground features a stocked private lake filled with catfish, crappies, bluegills, and large-mouthed bass, ideal for fishing enthusiasts. The site provides full hook-up options with 30AMP and 50AMP service, accommodating a variety of campers, with rates available nightly, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Guests often praise the welcoming staff and the efforts to beautify and update the campground, which is owned by a couple rather than a large corporation. The park is well-maintained, with a playground for children, picnic areas, and a small rec room with activities. Dogs are welcome, and visitors appreciate the clean-up and respect shown towards pets. There is no designated dog area, but many walking spots around the lakes make it easy to exercise pets. The campground is ideal for families and nature lovers, offering a quiet atmosphere with plenty of activities like golf cart rides and fishing. The nearby restaurant, Hillbilly Hideaway, provides great food and adds to the charm. Visitors often feel safe and relaxed, noting that the campground is becoming more popular and lively with visitors from out of town. Overall, Tomahawk Campground is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, relax, and create lasting memories with loved ones.
