I really liked this hotel, when I arrived I was immediately welcomed by the hosts, she gave me a lot of information about the establishment and also the restaurants where I could go, and the lunch was very good, the cook was very friendly, and when I left, the kitchen was closed so the hosts prepared me a little pick nick, yogurt, fruit muffins as well as a bottle of water, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I recommend it to you, jf raynault

The air-conditioning was fair. No hair dryer available. I probably needed to ask for one.

We selected to stay at the Best Western Plus Pontoon Beach based on location, affordability, and reviews. We enjoyed our one night stay finding a nice, clean, and quiet establishment. If this site fits your travel plans we highly recommend a stay here, and we will definitely visit again for any future travels.

Ive stayed here many times. People who work here are always kind and courteous. Rooms are always clean. They offer many amenities such as food & drink and you can also get a pizza made.

Room was great. Most employees were great except the breakfast one. She preferred chatting with her colleague at the front desk vs. working. I dared interrupt her conversation to request yogurt and a clean waffle utensil (the current one had syrup on its handle) and she reluctantly helped, and had the biggest attitude. She stated that the waffle utensil was clean enough to use, and implied that I had dirtied it and was making an unreasonable request. She then proceeded to shove the clean replacement in my face for me to place back on the counter. Same for the yogurt, just not very pleasant. My husband told me she scolded my son when she could have simply talked to my husband (they came down earlier than the rest of the family). I asked to speak with a manager, was told to call back on Monday. I called several times over the next few weeks, only to be told that there was no manager. I left my number, was told I would be called back, and I am still waiting. Last, I would have liked to see more diversity in jams at breakfast (only one type available) and have cream cheese as an option. We found out the lobby expresso machine was conveniently "broken" every morning but then when we returned at the end of both days, it was operational. Seems like morning employees just don't want to deal with it. Did not have an option to skip housekeeping by placing a sign on the door handle.

Overall was a decent stay. I was not happy to find out that your kids make you pay $100 deposit. That you get back if there is not damages. There was no notice or fine print. Just charge you without telling you. I'm staying for two nights, so I'm already paying $240. Then tell me that. I just wish we were told when we reserved the room. We saved just enough money to get the room, but when we got they said our card was declined. That is not what I want to hear when I'm 200 miles from home. Other than this ridiculousness, I don't know if we will be back

They charge you an extra $100 dollars when you check in. They don't tell you that they are doing it, they just do. She said, Please put your card in. Nothing more, then just charged me an extra $100 on top of my room fee at check in. When I asked how much she charged my card and why she did that. That's when she said it was in case of damages and I would get it back. But it was not posted on the website. It was not posted on where I reserved the room. Seems like something that should be known to their guests before they charge them.

Check it out for yourself. Here is my 2 cents on the matter. I truly enjoyed my stay. These summer months leaves a lot of hotel rooms feeling clammy, almost wet which I dislike. I did not find this at Best Western Pontoon Beach. The individual in charge of the laundry deserves a hand! If you enjoy sleeping in bedding, which is soft and the comforter warm, this location is it. I must also give praise for breakfast and those who took care in preparation of it. Many a times this meal at hotels seem to be an after thought, something that is thrown together in a rush. The results are at times something that resembles something yellow and burnt, sausage sticks, dried patty jerky. “Surprise” for this breakfast is of a different nature. If I was to make the meal myself, I dare say that I wish that I could make an excellent breakfast such as this. potatoes that is tender and soft to the pallet. Juicy sausage links, and tasty scrambled eggs that were prepared with care. My thanks to all the staffers that made this stay so wonderful . I did not try the pool, or venture in the exercise room. Maybe next, yeah ?

We stayed for two nights and really liked it. The room was clean, the service was great, breakfast was tasty and fresh, and the espresso machine in the lobby made a huge difference.

My sister and I got 2 luxury rooms thanks to Ms. Connie @ the front desk. She was friendly and most helpful throughout the whole process. Thanks CONNIE, FROM ALICE AND EUNICE.
Rooms: Connie at the front desk was awesome. She assisted in helping us choose our luxury rooms. Ahhh, the rooms were emaciate, clean and SMELLED GREAT. NOT a spec of dust. So please go and enjoy your stay.
