“Healing with Hooves at BraveHearts ??  I had the incredible opportunity to work with BraveHearts at the Bergmann Centre, thanks to their collaboration with the Oscar Mike Foundation, which supports disabled veterans in reconnecting with movement, community, and purpose.

The experience focused on three remarkable therapeutic horses: Trick, Hawk, and Batman. Each horse brought something unique, but Batman was more than just a horse; he is a wild-born American Mustang a symbol of resilience, freedom, and untamed spirit. Working with him was more than therapy; it was a profound connection of strength and soul.

Batman’s quiet confidence, powerful presence, and deep sensitivity made every moment unforgettable. The bond I formed with him transcended the saddle, he taught me the values of trust, patience, and the beauty of silent understanding.

“Great hometown place and feel. I just wish they had more funding and donations to really bring this place up to speed. This place has history and use to be the spot to be with the different kinds of classes and sport's and you name it. But in its defense the building was built in 1967. She just needs some funds and some elbow grease and this could be the spot to be once again.”
