“It's a place to help people who want to become sober. They have pot meetings as well as alcohol meetings and Alon meetings. They have mostly alcohol meetings very good place can sit on porch and fellowship all day from 8:00am to 9:00 pm.”
“We are so grateful to have had our wedding at the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association (NCCA)! Woody and his team were wonderful to work with - from first touring the venue to clean-up the morning after. Set in the beautiful neighborhood of Oak Park, the NCCA is surrounded by community parks and historic homes by Frank Loyd Wright. We also had easy access to the local hotel to host our guests overnight. This wedding venue is reasonably priced with true historic charm. The food and beverages were excellent. We held our ceremony/cocktail hour on the first floor and reception on the second floor, comfortably accommodating our guest count of 175 people. Woody is responsive and flexible. He is willing to support creative endeavors to make your wedding feel original. We feel so fortunate to have found the NCCA to host our wedding - we would absolutely recommend it to you!”
“It's a beautiful site to visit and you can get everything you need there for the day. I go there on Sundays for the speaker meeting and the breakfast beforehand and I always leave with food for the soul because you only get to live one day at a time.”

“Great place to start gymnastics. We have younger children that started gymnastics with TriStar in spring and by end of summer they are able to do many new things like cart wheels, flips and climbing ropes and other skills on equipment with assistance. I'm not looking to make my children competitive gymnasts but give them opportunities to try something and get some skills. I think the staff here do an excellent job and connect really well with the kids.Location is an old former warehouse so it is a bit remote and sketchy, building is dusty sometimes cold or hot because it is a huge space.”
“Laura is amazing. Due to some financial issues and other problems My elderly ants electric got turned off. We went there and we spoke with Laura and she really went out of her way to help us. Told me exactly what I needed told me exactly what time they closed and did everything she could to resolve my issue. I was supposed to call her back in 3 days but my power was back on today so thank you Laura”

Sam assured me that my repair was going to be taken care of quickly, he also was up front about everything that the repair entailed and gave me a breakdown on price. “Located in a large modern architectural building in the Chicago neighborhood, Lawndale, BBF is very welcoming. They offer so many important services in this low-income community. -Social programs, academic tutoring, emotional health services and career development opportunities. When I was asked to volunteer at a city wide "baby shower" and toy giveaway, I knew immediately that I wanted to do it. Spending my day greeting expectant mothers and children who were anxious to pick out toys, I was so glad to be a part of the event. I knew that Lawndale had a lot of gun violence, but I still met way more young pregnant mothers who had just recently lost their partners to it than I expected. Way more. Gun violence and poverty is a serious threat to this community, so organizations like Building Brighter Futures are so needed. The event held here was pretty amazing. Not only were there tons of brand new baby clothing, but there were also new strollers, pack-n-plays, and breast pumps. They had free toys for kids and they had massage therapists on site who were offering free prenatal massages for the expectant mothers. It was truly wonderful to see so many people come together to help some of the most vulnerable people in this community. -women and children.This is a great organization to consider if you're wanting to donate time and money to something of real value.”
