“I want to thank the beautiful women at Northwest Compass Mt Prospect for assisting me with my financial hardship. It was literally at the point of no return and things could have gotten drastically worse had they not stepped in to mitigate and advocate on my behalf. I saw the gospel being played out in real time as these women fought for me. I sat in another room but could see through the window how they were leaning forward sitting down on the phone speaking with my debt collector and were displaying love and passion for their jobs and me, their neighbor. We hit some walls along the way but my case worker Brianna McGahee patiently and persistently found a solution for me that has changed the trajectory of my finances in an indescribable way. I want to personally thank Brianna for not giving up on me when it looked like we were out of options. With her by my side it felt like there is always an option on the table. It’s just a matter of having the will to roll up the sleeves and get down in the dirt with someone to give them a hand up.
I highly recommend Brianna for any promotion or pay raise that is available for her. We need more people like her in the field helping those truly in need.

“We adopted Weather yesterday. She is such a WONDERFUL, 2 year old mixed breed stray from out of town. Reach really does their due-diligence - checks your references and interviews you! Until you're cleared for take off, the one boss lady can seem a little strict, but anyone can see that everyone there has the best interests of the animals passionately in their hearts! There are so many cases of abuse and neglect in this world, and they want to make sure none of their beloved animals become a statistic.
I've owned small businesses and done a lot of volunteer work. I know too well that things don't always go right despite good intentions. To the other reviewers that didn't report 5-star experiences, I urge them to show some grace to these dedicated and passionate volunteers. Their hearts are AMAZING!

“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”

The team led by Tracy and supported by Erin and Nagin are truly wonderful. If you are a new business or are thinking about promoting your business, please have a sit down with Tracy. She will give you the run down of opportunities. From morning breakfasts, the NCEC, meetings with our legislators, ribbon cuttings, community guides, the list goes on and on. “It is a great place to stay but they get rid of good staff and keep the ones who doesnt care. They teach you how to do things on your own. Money management. They are friendly and caring. The sites would fight but thats what happens when youth. Very good staff overall. Would recommend. Great trips with this place. Was there for 4 years and left with learning alot from them.”

“Riverside has been home for my daughter for thirteen years. We love Riverside! The staff seem carefully chosen in their love, care, and respect for the residents. This is so important and comforting. And I love the nursing staff! Being a retired nurse, myself, I'm picky. They are terrific!”
“I was here in 1995 or 1996, my biological father was here in the 60s or 70s. So were my brothers. This place was great when I was there. I was like 6 or 7. I remember them taking us to six flags, camping and I remember them giving us a bunch of gifts for christmas. Father Smith was very kind to the children, and I remember us going to Indian grove school. I remember the ziggy building, all that. This was over 30 years ago. The Jordan family came and adopted me and gave me a beautiful childhood. I keep in touch with them to this day as they are my family. They came to pick me up from Maryville. Ill never forget Scott, Tawanda, David, Bonnie, and that one office manager with the golden retriever puppy. This place kept me safe until I was adopted. Im so glad they're still helping children that dont have families.”
