“OMG I’ve been doing bidness w/ Owner / Operator Michael Forman since we moved to Very East ( VELF ) LF in 1987 ( ironically the same weekend as Mr T ) and Michael, Along w/ faithful Pooch Fido have been servicing me con brio ever since.
1) Although often melancholy, MF always seems to perk up when I show up like clockwork on Thursdays in time for me to pay top$ for the myriad of chochkies( sic) he tries to unload like 5-color solar flashlights that glow in the dark and sunglasses w/ a Wig attached that even in Lake Bluff could pass for Trump.
2) Michael’s command of English along w/ Swahili and Mandarin make even the most cosmopolitan LF’er feel Velkome y BienVenue …
- What more can I say to merit his 5 star service? Freshly baked cookies? An horsd’oueurves plate rivaling only that of Onwentsia ? Most of all his chipper upscale mein even when they somehow Bombay your Aspen - bound skiis to Sri Lanka ?

“I've used this location a few times and I've never had any issues with what I've needed. But I felt compelled to write this review after interacting with and observing the employees when I stopped in this morning to send out a package.
It wasn't too busy, just myself and two other customers. There was a man and a woman working (same gentleman I've interacted with the last few times I went). He warmly greeted me and then apologized since they had a power outage in the morning so the systems were running a little slow. While we were waiting he noticed the guest behind me and helped direct him on where to place the package he was sending. He also assisted his coworker (not that she needed it, per say, but it helped keep things running smoothly). After that the computer was ready and he scanned my package. He was very efficient and made sure that he was using his time wisely. I also observed the woman helping the other customer while I was waiting, and she was very detail-oriented and professional with him.
While I was leaving, the gentleman gave me a friendly goodbye which felt very genuine, and I left the store actually feeling better and had my day brightened up. Can't say that about many places these days, so big thanks to them for being so great!”

“I'm in my 60s, and this is without a doubt, the best UPS facility I have ever used. This is the second time I've gone there. I no longer live in the area, but when I'm up visiting my family, occasionally I have to ship something back home.
A little over a week ago I took some items that I did not have a box for. They went to the trouble to arrange my items in the most economical fashion possible. They charged me six dollars for the materials they needed, and in my opinion, after receiving my box and seeing how expertly it was packed, and with the degree of care they took, I honestly feel they should've charged me more. Not only for the main box that housed my items, but also for a bubble wrap envelope inside of an additional box they included for some books. I was honestly stunned when I received my box and opened it up.
I had also shipped some items one of the previous times I was in town (that time I had my own box) after trying one or two other UPS places in the area. They all pale in comparison to this location..
I've read some negative reviews on here and I really don't know what these people are talking about.
These guys couldn't be more friendly or accommodating, they excel at what they do, and their pricing is beyond fair and reasonable.
We seem to live in a world where nobody is good at their job anymore, or even seem to care whether they are, or not. Not here. It's a pleasure giving them my business.”
