“Pure Barre Glenview is seriously one of my favorite places to work out. The classes always push me, but in a way that makes me feel strong and proud after. You definitely feel the burn, especially in your legs, glutes, and core and it’s so worth it.
The instructors are amazing! They’re super nice, always pay attention to your form, and motivate you without making you feel pressured. I love how they actually know your name and make you feel part of the group. The whole vibe is really positive and supportive.
The studio is always super clean, the music keeps you going, and everyone there just gives off good energy. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my strength and tone since I started coming here.
If you’re looking for a place that challenges you, boosts your confidence, and makes working out fun. Pure Barre Glenview and its staff is THAT PLACE. ??”

“Last Saturday my son got married in Miami. I am handicapped so looking for something to wear was not going to be easy. First stop Avenue Fashion. When in there I looked around and saw a dress I loved. Colors were very pretty(almost like tropical winter). I use a handicap scooter and with the netting the dress would cascade out and flow over my scooter. I kept thinking about the dress for weeks. I did not have the energy to go to a bunch of stores so back I went and bought the dress.Sandy and her staff could not be nicer. Taking measurements was no easy task for them. I casually mentioned a problem I anticipated with buying shoes. She said that she will order extra fabric and glue it to any flat shoe I find, and they were absolutely beautiful.During the wedding I received so many complements about the dress. Younger girls were telling me they loved my shoes.I also bought a beautiful leather jacket there for the welcoming dinner the previous night.I can’t thank Sandy enough for her help which made my son’s wedding weekend so spectacular.”

“Paddy's is a multi-generation boutique that truly earns the boutique name. I started going as a teenager with my parents during Long Grove festivals, when the current owner's father still graced us with that smirk tucked at the corner of his mouth, watching everyone shopping like they were old friends he was waiting to catch up with. Now, in my 30s, it's still my favorite place to go for UK/Ireland treats. In recent years, they bought and converted a different section of the building for clothing, jewelry, and other gorgeous items that are hard to find in the US. Yes, the prices can seem a bit much, but for what they carry, the quality and how sometimes you can only find these items in equally (or even more expensive) stores in Chicago, I never bat an eye when paying at the till. The original owner's son can now be seen making his rounds, checking in with customers like an echo of his father, and relieving other employees at the cash register to help finish purchases. I hope they keep this place going as long as they can, because I'll keep coming.”

“I stopped to look at their boots while I was in the neighborhood. They have top notch gear and their boots are high quality with triple stitching. I was hoping to find a bargain but ended up paying full price which is unusual for me. I did find a great deal on a pair of tennis shoes though so I now have two sets of new footwear.If they had more clothing in my size I would have stocked up on those, too. Not to mention the great gear they carry.The staff was friendly and helpful and I helped me feel better about leaving so much money behind.”
“I had a very good experience today at the Sephora within this Kohls store. The young woman working was very attentive, capable and pleasant. I watched her deal with a very annoying customer who tried to monopolize her time with ridiculous requests, and this young lady was extremely patient and professional. I just do not understand why customers do not see that other people are waiting behind them. There is no reason to ask for directions to another store in the age of Google maps!
I actually felt entertained watching this woman (customer) make demands of this very patient employee with multiple ridiculous requests. It’s astounding to me how people do not seem to realize they aren’t the only person on planet earth!
Again back to the employee- she was awesome and kind. I could not have had the same level of patience. I wish I had gotten her name so I could recognize her professionalism. She even thanked me for waiting and recognized how long I had to wait.
